Errands In Ginza On A Sunday Night
I was in Ginza again, this time to run an errand.
I woke up late in the afternoon because I slept in the morning already. My sleeping habits are a mess these days. It hasn’t recovered from the holidays yet. I want to be able to sleep at night, but even after rolling endlessly in the bed, my drowsiness will always come after sunrise. I guess I need to make myself more tired before midnight, I guess that would help. Don’t you think so?
Anyhow, off to an errand in Ginza. Forgot what time I left the house but it was already dark. For me, it’s easy to navigate underground to exit the train station so I walked a lot there. It was also cold outside so being inside helped.
Passed by an artwork gallery being displayed on the underground walkway but I was hesitant to take a photo so nada. The gallery was impressive by the way. There weren’t a lot of displays but it was enough. There was an explanation in English too, 助かりました!You’ll notice this when walking from Marunouchi line to Hibiya line.
Ginza is always nice at night I think. The lights from the shops on the streets and alleys seem like big Christmas lights. They’re colorful and so dreamy. Just walking around here will get you lost for sure, although for me, it’s easy to figure them out in my mind. There’s a map in my brain 😅
On the way, I’ve seen some interesting stuff.
I couldn’t count how many plants were hanging in this shop. It’s nice looking at them but I wonder how they’re able to maintain these plants. Do they climb everyday to water them? 🤔
Notice something different? Like round watches, this brands are clear on this one. And if I didn’t look up, I wouldn’t recognize the last one was what’s inside the watch. It’s a nice mimic.
I passed by this shop when I finished my errand and I was so surprised to see a piano at the trunk of this car. This is a Nissan car showroom and among their small selection of good Nissan cars was this car. Now you can perform your piece anywhere with your Nissan car. (skip ads 😅)

Filipinos can understand this joke. Found this shop and I immediately thought of the Filipino word equivalent of it. Yaman in Filipino means treasure or rich. This brand though is a beauty product brand and the shop’s big!
Apple Ginza is not so wide but at least they have many floors. They say this is just temporary and that they will have a new layout. Guess we’ll have to see what happens.
My appointment took time so my plans of going to Shibuya was put on hold. I thought of buying something in Shibuya but the store would be closed when I arrive for sure.
Was about to head home but I seemed to crave for something sweet like donuts. I immediately searched for the nearest Krispy Kreme and yay, I found one! It was on the other side though so I had to hurry walking or else they’ll be closed. 😅 Arrived and ordered 5 mins their closing time! Whew!
Anyways, that’s it for me.
I really tried my best to close all my rings this week but there was one day after work, my nap turned to a deep sleep and woke up at dawn. Another day I missed 5mins of exercise so it was almost closed. Tsk!
This week, my aim is to completely close all 3 rings so I’ll really do my best! 🥳

Great, you stole my excuse 😂
The city was beautiful though, it was nice to look through the pictures.
It's a beautiful city!
It's wide so people are not just crowding in one place.
HAHAHAHA we gotta satisfy our cravings sometimes! it's okay, it's not always~
😂😂😂😂
You often experience such a cool area of Japan! I haven't seen Ginza like this in my life. I think I've only been to Ginza a few times. When I went, there were many people on Saturday night. On Sunday night, it seems like a nice time to explore Ginza because there are fewer people. Lots of cool building photos! You look cool in Ginza!
I tend to avoid the crowds and I'm sure Sat night is the worse. 😅
I'm also not yet an expert in this area, and it's easy to get lost especially the blocks look similar.
