What is your favorite thing about this time of year?

It's November already, I really fond of the atmosphere at the moment. Because we are preparing for Christmas, every place will be wearing new decorations. This year is a little bit different from last year since we were still facing the Covid pandemic. However, I do believe that we will recover soon and back to normal life. This time of year seems to be the most relaxing of the year about weather also the temperature. In November, the weather less rained than a few months ago and just have light rained in the evening or at night. I will describe a bit of the days at the end of autumn in Ho Chi Minh city or Saigon.

In the autumn here, there is no scent of milk flowers, no taste of nuggets or red leaves like other places. If you are in Hanoi, you might feel the cold is coming, but you just only feel less hot than before in Ho Chi Minh City at the same time. Only the sun's yellow light shines on the old trees in the morning, only the smell of coffee in the morning, only the cold in the evening. Saigon appears to change its clothes when autumn approaches since its streets are painted yellow on a few roads in the city by the color of phoenix flowers during summer until this time. And that may be a yellow road with fulfilled by the flowers. A sudden gust of wind caused yellow leaves to fall. Some leaves immediately fall to the ground, while others are still used and stubbornly refuse to go, just swinging over and over and waiting for stronger wind.

Saigon's autumn was rainy and then suddenly sunny. There is an idiom about Saigon lovers comparing its weather with a woman who always needs to be coddle and difficult to please. After the rain will have a rainbow but here you can enjoy the fresh air after rain that has just stopped. These days are familiar with the image of morning sun touching the treetops, the flock of birds is busy on the rooftop of the old houses ... And just like that, I wished I could go to a familiar coffee corner, watch the street and the people also enjoy the significant atmosphere that I only find in Saigon.
Anyone who loves and is living in this city will feel the autumn here comes gently and you might not aware of the appearance of autumn also, cause it will pass fastly and bring us to the days of year-end. So I love to enjoy these days by relaxing with the blue and clear sky and the smell of flowers and leaves blended in the wind.
