There are many people who have let the fear of failure hold them back in life. In some cases, you may not want to take risks because you are afraid of the outcome. The fear factor problems is one that have made people lose out on great opportunities in life. In fact, we are all guilty of this. We feel like we are inferior when we compare ourselves to other people. We feel like we are losers when we compare other people's achievements to ours.
Despite the fact that these thoughts are normal, you must take risks even though you know that you might fail. There is no harm in trying. When you fail in something you are better off than someone who didn't try at all. You already have an experience which will help you to make progress beyond the point where you failed. In football, one of the greatest free kick taker of all time, David Beckham failed so many times during training sessions but with consistency and practice he was able to show the stuff he his made of during deciding moments in matches.

Perhaps, we fear failure due to how we were punished, humiliated and disgraced while growing up. In school, it is a shameful act to fail. There are times when teachers will announce the names of the students who failed and humiliate them in the front of the ones who passed. Failure then was a serious offense, so every student work hard in order not to get punished. But the reverse is the case in the outside world after school, people are not expected to fear failure, we are urged to try different approaches until we achieve success even if it means to fail a couple of times.
As you start this new week you need to understand that failure is not the end of the world. Failure makes us know how to learn from our mistakes and teaches us how to use it to make progress in all areas of life. In other words, failure is inevitable but you must also learn how to get back on your feet as well. Guess what? You will not learn these lessons if you do not make efforts.
