Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. In life it is common to see people regret the decision they made and the ones they didn't that they wish they had. We always have different choices in life, sometimes we make the right decisions and sometimes we make the wrong ones. It is a painful feeling to have regrets and it is mostly linked to the feeling of disappointment and guilt of things that have happened in the past which often times could have a lasting impact on the life of a person depending on how serious the issue is. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

It is common that when you ponder on the things that you should have done that you didn't do or the things that you should not have done that you did, you may find it difficult to enjoy the peace and joy of the moment because you are beating yourself so hard about your wrong choices. The more you continue to think that some event or circumstances could have been better than it is at the moment or it could have been changed then you are wallowing in the pool of regrets.

Regrets is powerful that it can make a person feel so bad of the choices that they have made. A major characteristics of regrets is that you'd blame yourself so much that your thoughts and emotions will be so clouded and you will wish you have made or not made a particular decision. However, on a brighter side, regrets can be helpful to you as a person if you are good at managing it, as it will help you to make better choices in the future. During the process of regrets there are lessons that you will learn if you are open-minded, these lessons can make you more enlightened to make better choices.

For example, I have invested my funds in some business that promised very high ROI, probably due to lack of knowledge or greed, and on the long run I lost it all. I regretted my actions so much that I wish I didn't make the decision. It is a sure thing that such feeling will break one down, it is not easy to make money in our world, not to talk of some group of persons scamming you of your hard-earned funds. These regrets made me make the decision that I will never invest in any business that the ROI seems to unbelievable. Apart from that I'm going to make enquires, ensure they have a verified office space among others before thinking of investing.

In order to water down some of the negative effects of regrets it is advisable to forgive yourself. When you forgive yourself you will be compassionate with yourself which makes it easy for you to move on and stop regretting your actions. Treat yourself with so much love and kindness rather than beating yourself over the mistakes you have made.

I don't think a person learns the finer arts of investment unless he loses some. Yes I consider investment as a finer art being a student of finance and business. My question is how one knows whether his step was right or wrong until he took it?

The story may be quite interesting to tell if the loss is for a good course, probably due to fluctuation in price, inflation and the likes but not losing to some set of people whose main target is to rip you off your funds for their personal gain.

Yes, I always say that if something sounds to good to be true it probably is. Always be vigilant with your hard earned money. However, turning a bad experience into something beneficial, by learning from it makes the sour taste sweeter. Glad to see you’re reevaluating your priorities.😊❤️🤔
