DEALING WITH PEOPLE WHO DO NOT OPEN UP ABOUT THEIR EMOTIONS IS NOT EASY

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. Interacting with people who are not straight-forward about their emotions can be quite complicated. These kind of people are fond of hiding their emotions such as anger because they are not comfortable speaking about them openly. Some people give silent treatment and when you ask what the problem is, they'd deny the fact that they are angry which will almost drive you crazy. It may even involve subtle show of anger such as slamming doors, hissing or doing chores with anger. Well, sit back, relax and enjoy all that I have packaged for your reading pleasure.

People with this type of behavior can also use sarcasm when it is not necessary or appropriate. Imagine if your colleague in the office is not responding to you the way he or she usually does and you are concerned to know what you did wrong to apologize but they answered you with sarcasm.

It can be so difficult to understand these kind of persons with this type of behaviors because it is not easy to spot so you may be left confused. A person with this behaviorial pattern will do something despicable in secret when no one is watching and when they are being asked about it they'd behave as if they don't know what's happening.

In most cases, when you see someone who does not take responsibility for their actions they may be in the category of people who are never true to their feelings. They'd rather blame other people for their mistakes instead of admitting that they are wrong. If something goes wrong it must always be as a result of someone other than them.

The habit of not taking responsibility for one's actions will deter progress because it is only when you admit that you are wrong that you will learn from your mistakes and make amends.

In order not to allow these kind of people make you feel like the bad person or play on your intelligence, you must first recognize the major fact that you did not do anything wrong or bad. You do not deserve the kind of poor treatment you are receiving from them, so don't beat yourself so hard because you have done nothing to deserve such.

Also, you must be willing to stand your grounds and confront them about their behavior even though they may be willing to avoid talking about it. When you talk about it you're giving them the opportunity to come out of their shells to speak about it and you'd be able to make your concerns known to them in all honesty.

Bear in mind that dealing with persons who do not open up easily can be very difficult so you must address the issue and let them know how their behavior is affecting you.
