Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. Self-confidence is the belief in one's ability, skills, and potential to achieve success. Self-confidence is not only good as a success booster, or for an overall well-being of a person but it also determines how other people define you. Sadly, it is not everyone that is confident in their potential and skills. Fear, anxiety and low self-esteem play a huge part in not making people achieve their set goals. On the other hand, there are quite a number of ways to build one's self-confidence, these include acting confident in situations where you might be short of confidence.

There are times where you need to show yourself as being confident, it can be advantageous to focus on your strengths, that is, the skills, potentials and abilities that you are convinced that you are most confident about. This means you focus on the the thing that you confident about anytime, any day. By focusing on your strengths, you will feel free from fear and anxiety, thereby strengthening your self-confidence.

Negatives talks can birth a decline in self-confidence even though they may look as if they don't have much power at first, but constantly talking yourself down in your mind will have an impact on your ability to stay on top of your game. It is important to start paying attention to the thoughts that come to your mind in situations when you can not meet up to your expectations in terms of confidence. Take note of the kind of words you use if they are positive or negative. In no time, you may have the no success mentality in your brain if you constantly think negatively about your abilities. The human mind is very powerful, this is the reason why it is better to say positive things about yourself.
