Neuchâtel and its beautiful lake [EN - IT] 🇨🇭

Hello friends of #Pinmapple! Today I want to tell you about a trip I took last month to Switzerland in the beautiful French canton; I'm going to tell you about Neuchatel a small town that overlooks a beautiful lake.

Ciao amici di #Pinmapple! Oggi voglio parlarvi di un viaggio che ho fatto il mese scorso in Svizzera nella bellissimo cantone francese; vi parlerò di Neuchatel una piccola cittadina che si affaccia su un lago stupendo.

The town is very busy in the summer months when tourists gather on the lake to soak up the sun or have a great time.
I was lucky enough to be here for work during months when the city wasn't very busy and I had the chance to admire so many details.

La città è molto frequentata nei mesi estivi quando i turisti si ritrovano sul lago a prendere il sole o a passare dei bellissimi momenti.
Io ho avuto la fortuna di trovarmi qui per lavoro in mesi in cui la città non era molto frequentata e ho avuto la possibilità di ammirare tanti dettagli.

I stayed in a really gorgeous hotel that directly overlooks the lake at the easternmost tip of the city, it's the Best Western Premium hotel in Neuchatel one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in in my life.

Ho alloggiato in un hotel davvero stupendo che si affaccia direttamente sul lago nella punta più a Est della città, si tratta dell'hotel Best Western Premium di Neuchatel uno degli hotel più belli in cui sono stato nella mia vita.

This, for example, is the lobby of the hotel where I often found myself waiting for my colleague or talking to the people at the reception desk; everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, the rooms, the common areas and the tuitti furnishings chosen with beautiful design.

Questa per esempio è la hall dell'hotel in cui mi trovavo spesso per aspettare il mio collega o per parlare con le persone della reception; tutto curato nel minimo dettaglio, le camere, gli spazi comuni e gli arredi tuitti scelti con un design stupendo.

This is the "photo exhibit" I had in my room all wonderful shots of details of Lake Neuchatel taken by a very good Swiss photographer.

Questa è la "mostra fotografica" che avevo nella mia camera tutti scatti stupendi di dettagli del lago di Neuchatel eseguiti da un bravissimo fotografo svizzero.

You have to know that in Italy masks are still compulsory in closed environments while in Switzerland they are not, and I was very surprised by this as soon as I entered the hotel, no one had a mask and I hadn't entered anywhere without one for two years. It was a really wonderful feeling of freedom.

Dovete sapere che in Italia sono ancora obbligatorie le mascherine all'interno degli ambienti chiusi mentre in Svizzera no e sono rimasto molto sorpreso di questa cosa appena sono entrato in hotel, nessuno aveva la mascherina e io era da due anni che non entravo in nessun posto senza. E' stata una sensazione di libertà davvero stupenda.

Another very peculiar thing about these places (at least for those coming from Italy) are the prices, really high, I'll give you an example: a 1 liter bottle of water costs 10 euros.
However, I was told by local people that in Switzerland salaries are equal to the very high cost of living, but if you decide to come to these beautiful places, know that they are not exactly cheap 😂.

Un'altra cosa molto particolare di questi luoghi (almeno per chi viene dall'Italia) sono i prezzi, davvero elevatissimi, vi faccio un esempio: una bottiglia d'acqua da 1 litro costa 10 euro.
Tuttavia mi raccontavano persone del luogo che in Svizzera gli stipendi sono equiparati al costo molto elevato della vita, ma se deciderete di venire in questi bellissimi posti, sappiate che non sono proprio economici 😂.

Anyway this hotel is really wonderful and worth every Swiss franc paid, this was my room it was really a shame to leave.

In ogni modo questo hotel è davvero stupendo e vale ogni franco svizzero pagato, questa era la mia stanza è stato davvero un peccato andare via.

My room had a view of the parking lot in front of the hotel, in the distance we see a part of the old town and even further away the profile of the hills.
It was really nice to stay here, especially in the evening when you could see all the lights in the windows of the buildings from above; a really wonderful feeling.

La mia stanza aveva la vista sul parcheggio di fronte all'hotel, in lontananza vediamo una parte del centro storico e ancora più in la il profilo delle colline.
Era davvero bello stare qui, soprattutto la sera, quando si vedevano tutte le luci delle finestre degli edifici dall'alto; una sensazione davvero stupenda.

DISCOVERING NEUCHATEL

SCOPRIAMO NEUCHATEL

This is Neuchatel, the view from the sixth floor of the hotel a really great view of the city (from the other side of the hotel you could see the lake and the view was even better).

Questa è Neuchatel, la vista dal sesto piano dell'hotel una vista davvero stupenda della città (dall'altro lato dell'hotel si vedeva il lago e la vista era ancora più bella).

This was the view from the roof of the hotel on the side of the lake of Neuchatel, these days there was a little mist that made the sky one with the water of the lake, in a beautiful atmosphere.
Lake Neuchatel has a small marina from which boats depart for tours during the summer months.
There are also many boats owned by local people.
In this point of the lake the port is very particular, there are piers with a rounded shape on which you can walk.

Questa era la vista invece dal tetto dell'hotel sul lato del lago di Neuchatel, in questi giorni c'era un po di foschia che rendeva il cielo un tutt'uno con l'acqua del lago, in un'atmosfera bellissima.
Il lago di Neuchatel ha un piccolo porto turistico dal quale partono i battelli che permettono di fare delle visite durante i mesi estivi.
Sono presenti anche molte imbarcazioni di persone locali.
In questo punto del lago il porto è molto particolare, sono presenti dei moli con forma arrotondata sui quali è possibile passeggiare.

On the roof of the hotel there was a very stylish lounge bar accessible to everyone, also, I would have loved to have a drink here, maybe during the sunset.
In this photo you can see the first warm lights of the waning sun, it's very relaxing to stand here and admire the scenery from above.

Sul tetto dell'hotel era presente un lounge bar molto elegante accessibile a tutti, anche, mi sarebbe piaciuto bere qualcosa qui, magari durante il tramonto.
In questa foto si vedono le prima luci calde del sole calante, è molto rilassante stare qui ad ammirare il paesaggio dall'alto.

A walk on the lake, always at sunset, always with the mist, always with the warm tones of the most romantic moment of the day.
Around the lake there is a walkway that leads to different points of the city.
I didn't have a chance to try it, but I think that here, people bathe and sunbathe during the summer.

Una passeggiata sul lago, sempre al tramonto, sempre con la foschia, sempre con le tonalità calde del momento più romantico della giornata.
Attorno al lago è presente un camminamento che porta a diversi punti della città.
Non ho avuto occasione di provarlo, ma penso che qui, le persone facciano il bagno e prendano il sole durante l'estate.

This is the beautiful skyline of the city, a particular skyline, characterized by historic buildings all maintained in excellent condition.
The buildings constructed in these places are characterized by very high and sloping roofs, this is to cope with the snowfall of the winter months, often the roofs are so high that they host inside them the real apartments.

Questo è il bellissimo profilo della città, uno skyline particolare, caratterizzato da edifici storici tutti mantenuti in ottimo stato.
I palazzi costruiti in questi luoghi sono caratterizzati da tetti molto alti e spioventi, questo per far fronte alle precipitazioni nevose dei mesi invernali, spesso i tetti sono talmente alti che ospitano al loro interno dei veri e propri appartamenti.

The city is beautiful, a real jewel kept very well from all points of view, in this case we see one of the most beautiful squares of the city.
The warm light of the sunset makes the atmosphere even more beautiful and romantic, being in this place makes it seem like living in a dream.

La città è bellissima, un vero e proprio gioiello tenuto benissimo da tutti i punti di vista, in questo caso vediamo una delle piazze più belle della città.
La luce calda del tramonto rende l'atmosfera ancora più bella e romantica, trovarsi in questo posto fa sembrare di vivere in un sogno.

The city is full of flowers, of many types and colors, I think the whole city is a huge garden, beautiful and whose details can be seen walking comfortably in the gardens.

La città è piena di fiori, di tantissime tipologie e colori, penso che l'intera città sia un giardino enorme, bellissimo e i cui dettagli si scorgono passeggiando comodamente nei giardini.

The lake is beautiful at all hours of the day, in every situation the atmosphere is different and changes, on the horizon the sky merges with the lake in a beautiful atmosphere.

Il lago è bello a tutte le ore del giorno, in ogni situazione l'atmosfera è diversa e cambia, all'orizzonte il cielo si fonde con il lago in un'atmosfera bellissima.

The water in the lake as seen in this photo is very clean, I would have loved to take a bath in these waters, maybe if I come back I will be able to do it too.

L'acqua del lago come si vede in questa foto è pulitissima, mi sarebbe piaciuto molto fare un bagno in queste acque, magari se tornerò riuscirò anche a farlo.

The city was completely still, probably in summer when there are more tourists the city is more alive and has a different atmosphere.

La città era completamente ferma, probabilmente in estate quando ci sono più turisti la città è più viva e ha una diversa atmosfera.

Another view of the city's stunning historic skyline, the view of the hills behind Old Town is very nice.

Un'altra vista dello stupendo skyline storico della città, la vista delle colline dietro al centro storico è molto bella.

I really enjoyed this city, I have to say I hope to go back soon and experience many more good times.
I really like the lakes, Swiss cities have a lot of them, I would like to have the chance to make a long bal trip and see all of Switzerland, Neuchatel was a nice experience that I recommend to everyone.

Mi è piaciuta molto questa città, devo dire che spero di tornarci presto e vivere tanti altri bei momenti.
Mi piacciono davvero tanto i laghi, le città svizzere ne hanno tanti, vorrei avere la possibilità di fare un bal viaggio lungo e vedere tutta la Svizzera, Neuchatel è stato una bella esperienza che consiglio a tutti.
