La Previsora Tower [ENG/ESP]

The city of Caracas, capital of Venezuela, like any city, contains architectural icons of great importance and value for its own foundation, which is part of what has been the planning of this metropolis, which undoubtedly has been a reference for all Latin America.
And for this occasion, I show you this important architectural icon known as La Previsora tower, a very referential place for all citizens and even for those who visit the city at some point, being a structure recognized by all.
The tower La Previsora, began its construction in 1970, having as promoter of the project insurance La Previsora, name that inherits the building, and on the other hand the design was made by the architect Francisco Javier Pimentel Malaussena. Thus, this building would open its doors in 1973.
La ciudad de Caracas, capital de Venezuela, como toda urbe, contiene iconos arquitectónicos de gran importancia y de valor por su propio fundamento, que forma parte de lo que ha sido la planificación de esta metrópolis, que sin duda alguna ha sido referente para toda Latinoamérica.
Y para esta ocasión, les muestro este importante icono arquitectónico conocido como la torre La Previsora, lugar muy referente para todos los ciudadanos e incluso para quienes visitan la ciudad en algún momento, siendo así una estructura reconocido por todos.
La torre La Previsora, inició su construcción en 1970, teniendo como promotor del proyecto seguros La Previsora, nombre que hereda la edificación, y por otra parte el diseño fue hecho por el arquitecto Francisco Javier Pimentel Malaussena. De tal forma wue este edificio abriría sus puertas en 1973.
This building has a height of 110 meters, with 24 floors, in addition to containing a Patek Philippe & Co. watch, from the renowned Swiss watch company, which we can see in the photographs throughout the pedestal of the tower, where you can also see the particular design of the tower with a pyramidal shape.
It is located in the well-known Plaza Venezuela, emblematic place, which is known for being the central point between the city of Caracas and the municipalities of the state of Miranda. A sector that is well known for its commercial and business activities. Being this tower, a structure made to serve activities for business purposes, in addition to also contain some shops and restaurants.
Dicha edificación tiene una altura de 110 metros, con 24 pisos, además de contener un reloj Patek Philippe & Co, de la reconocida empresa de relojes suizos, de lo que podemos apreciar en las fotografías en todo el pedestal de la torre, donde también se puede visualizar el particular diseño de la torre con forma piramidal.
Ubicándose en el conocido Plaza Venezuela, emblemático lugar, que es conocido por ser punto central entre la ciudad de Caracas con los municipios del estado Miranda. Un sector que es bien conocido por sus actividades comerciales y empresariales. Siendo esta torre, una estructura hecha para atender actividades con fines empresariales, además de también contener algunos locales comerciales y restaurantes.
I always remember this building from the first moment I saw it when I was a child, and it has taken a lot of my attention, which of course could not miss to portray and talk about this important architectural icon of the city and the country, which at some point was the meaning of progress in a thriving country economically speaking.
When I visit and know these architectural works, besides the fact of taking some pictures, I recognize the value and contribution it has on the history of my country, where for many years it was at the forefront of architecture throughout America, and although it is already an old tower, it still has validity for the knowledge of all, as well as a treasure well appreciated for photography.
Siempre recuerdo este edificio desde el primer momento que lo vi cuando era niño, y ha tomado mucho mi atención, que por supuesto no podía faltar retratar y hablar sobre este importante icono arquitectónico de la ciudad y el país, que en algún fue significado de progreso en un país pujante económicamente hablando.
Cuando visito y conozco estas obras arquitectónicas, además del hecho de hacer algunas fotografías, reconozco el valor y contribución que tiene sobre la historia de mí país, donde por muchos años estuvo en la vanguardia de la arquitectura en toda América, y apesar de que se trata ya de una torre vieja, aun tiene vigencia para el conocimientos de todos, así como también un tesoro bien apreciado para la fotografía.
Where you can capture the geometric shapes, lines and forms of these structures, as well as try to understand the design of it, in order to have a reference that has a worldwide guideline. That is connected between progress and the advancement of modernity, which goes hand in hand with the formation of society.
Therefore, the tower La Previsora, is part of the Venezuelan culture, for all its history and art, which somehow continues to influence the future of our civilization, which will be part of the studies of those people related to this area such as architecture and engineering, also as the beautification and planning of a city, which still aspires to grow and improve over time.

Donde se puede captar las formas geométricas, líneas y formas de estas estructuras, asimismo como tratar de comprender el diseño de la misma, para así tener una referencia que tiene una pauta a nivel mundial. Que esta conectado entre el progreso y el avance de la modernidad, que va de la mano con formación de la sociedad.
Por consiguiente, la torre La Previsora, forma parte de la cultura venezolana, por toda su historia y arte plasmado, que de alguna forma sigue influenciando el futuro de nuestra civilización, que será parte de los estudios de aquellas personas afines de esta área como la arquitectura y la ingeniería, también como el embellecimiento y planificación de una ciudad, que aún aspira crecer y mejorar con el tiempo.

The Venezuelan capital of Caracas is undeniably a magnificent hub of iconic architecture. And the La Previsora Tower is one of its shining beacons. I love its Brutalist-inspired design giving the modern skyscraper an impressive minimalistic appeal. Definitely a status symbol of your country's continuing progress and development! 😊
