RE: Ladder Anxiety!

Wow! This article basically broke down one of my major struggles in life; anxiety. Up until I found chess & it taught me the power of positivity.
Prior to this time I'd suffered alot from performance pressure. Whenever I have a task to do something I know I can, I just couldn't seem to stay calm.
I went to tons of chess tournaments in my early days & I'll always perform badly, lose games I was even winning, all because of anxiety. @samostically is my good friend & can attest to this.
But I continued to go for tournaments I began to understand myself better. Initially I had thought something was wrong with me, I felt I shouldn't feel any form of anxiety at all but then I realized some degree of tension is required & normal, it only gets dangerous when it's too much.
Soon after I learned to stay calm even in toughest of situations & always keep a positive mindset. I give chess alot of the credit.
Loved your post! ❤
