Un día común sin energía eléctrica por 15h - Trabajo casual // A typical day without power for 15 hours - Casual labor

Creo que no será el primer post relacionado con este titulo, pues la verdad dudo mucho que a alguien de la comunidad de acá no le haya afectado, yo menciono "un día común" pues la verdad después de haber vivido un apagón de 7 días, no me sorprendía volverlo a hacer, pero gracias y solo fue un di.
En mi ciudad después de esa primera hola de apagones, literalmente todos los comercios compraron generadores eléctricos y por un leve momento solventaron ese problema, así que cuando yo me levante sin luz, con el teléfono descargado y sin señal 3g o 4g, gran parte de los comercios de Barquisimeto estaban trabajando normal, por lo cual para mi no era día libre.

I think it will not be the first post related to this title, because the truth is that I doubt that someone in the community here has not been affected, I mention “a common day” because the truth after having lived a blackout of 7 days, I was not surprised to do it again, but thank you and it was only a day.
In my city after that first blackout, literally all the businesses bought electric generators and for a slight moment they solved that problem, so when I woke up without electricity, with my phone unloaded and without 3g or 4g signal, most of the businesses in Barquisimeto were working normally, so for me it was not a day off.

Sinceramente cuando llegue, todo era un desastre, las neveras estaban por descongelarse por lo cual había mucha agua en el suelo, tazas de café sucias, mis compañeras prendieron el generador y colocaron el router, el punto de venta, y otros aparatos del lugar que tiene energía cuando se prende el generador, sin embargo no estaba muy bien ubicado, era muy difícil cruzar para atender a otra persona.
Además de ser un día con apagón nacional, había una buena cantidad de personas en la calle, y donde trabajo venden pasticho (lasaña), por lo cual tuvimos bastante gente entre las 12-3pm, ya luego bajo un poco la marea, sin embargo era caótico trabajar así porque no teníamos agua para lavar de inmediato e impedir que se acumulara.

Honestly when I arrived, everything was a mess, the refrigerators were about to defrost so there was a lot of water on the floor, dirty coffee cups, my colleagues turned on the generator and placed the router, the point of sale, and other devices of the place that has power when the generator is turned on, however it was not very well located, it was very difficult to cross to serve another person.
Besides being a day with a national blackout, there were a lot of people on the street, and where I work they sell pasticho (lasagna), so we had a lot of people between 12-3pm, and then the tide went out a little, but it was chaotic to work like that because we had no water to wash immediately and prevent it from accumulating.

A falta de energía eléctrica mi hermano tuvo que bajar desde mi casa, hasta mi trabajo para llevarme almuerzo, para poder cargar su laptop, teléfono y poder trabajar, ya que el tiene un trabajo remoto y no podía estar incomunicado todo el día.
Por allí intentamos hablar pero el sonido del generador es tanto que no se puede, y lo mismo con otras personas que fueron al local a cargar sus teléfonos.

In the absence of electricity my brother had to go down from my house to my work to bring me lunch, to charge his laptop, phone and work, since he has a remote job and could not be incommunicado all day.
We tried to talk over there but the sound of the generator is so loud that we can't, and the same with other people who went to the store to charge their phones.

Por cierto teníamos una reserva para un cumpleaños que siguió en pie pese a las circunstancias y los atendimos hasta las 9pm, sufrimos el corte de energía 4 veces, así que tuve encender y apagar el generador 4 veces. Pero a pesar de todo parece que disfrutaron su reunión y hasta les prepare algunos cafés, que me quedaron geniales.

By the way we had a reservation for a birthday party that was still on despite the circumstances and we served them until 9pm, we suffered the power cut 4 times, so I had to turn the generator on and off 4 times. But in spite of everything it seems that they enjoyed their meeting and I even prepared some coffees for them, which were great.

Y para finalizar el día, mis primos nuevamente me invitaron a salir, justo después que no hubieras¿n mas cortes planeamos ir a la discoteca, por que ya habíamos quedado en ir este fin de semana, no contamos con ese pequeño percance pero la verdad es que no cancelamos los planes.
Aunque eso estaba completamente solo, la idea nuestra era disfrutar en familia y la verdad es que así todo calmado fue genial, fue una noche agradable e increíble.
Quienes mas lo disfrutaron fue mi prima y su esposo (al que también le decimos primo).

And to finish the day, my cousins again invited me to go out, just after there were no more cuts we planned to go to the disco, because we had already agreed to go this weekend, we did not count on that little mishap but the truth is that we did not cancel the plans.
Although that was completely alone, our idea was to enjoy with our family and the truth is that it was great, it was a nice and incredible night.
The ones who enjoyed it the most was my cousin and her husband (who we also call cousin).
