#TeamChiffers - My team and co-workers. // #TeamChiffers - Mi equipo y compañeros de trabajo.

Since I arrived here in Colombia, the people with whom I spend most of my time here in Colombia are my coworkers, we are literally together for 8 or 9 hours a day, even more. So we took a day for ourselves, taking advantage of the fact that we had a collective break and we went to spend a nice time, eat together and chat a little.
We all work in the same place with the difference that the ones who are there 6 days a week are Laura (the girl with red hair), the boy (my cousin with glasses) and me, Andrea and Brayan her boyfriend are only there on weekends, which are the busiest days and more staff is needed, although Brayan is the one who only does the home visits.

Desde que llegue con quienes comparto mas tiempo de mi estadía acá en Colombia, es con mis compañeros de trabajo, literalmente estamos juntos por 8 o 9h al día, incluso mas. Por ello nos tomamos un día para nosotros, aprovechando que teníamos descanso colectivo y fuimos a pasar un rato agradable, comer juntos y charlar un poco.
Todos trabajamos en el mismo lugar con la diferencia que quienes estamos 6 días de la semana somos, Laura (la chica de pelo rojo), el niño (mi primo el de lentes) y yo, Andrea y Brayan su novio estan solo los fines de semana, que son los días mas movidos y se necesita mas personal, aunque Brayan es quien hace solo los domicilios.

That day we went to a bar-restaurant, called Craft where there was a game room, but very crowded and the prices of everything they sold were excessive, so we changed to go to Terraza, another quieter place to talk very nice and literally is the terrace of a small building, there was more economical, and is that working in a restaurant we compared the same products we offer in other places and we see the difference higher.
We ordered what is known here as a "picada", basically a mini grill for 5 people and with that we ate, although we also ordered nachos, cocktails and a pitcher of beer.

Ese día fuimos a un bar-restaurante, llamado Craft donde había sala de juegos, pero muchísima gente y los precios de todo lo que vendían eran excesivos, así que cambiamos para ir a Terraza, otro lugar mas tranquilo para charlas muy bonito y literalmente es la terraza de un edificio pequeño, allí era mas económico, y es que al trabajar en un restaurante comparábamos los mismos productos que ofrecemos en otros lugares y vemos la diferencia mas alta.
Pedimos lo que acá conocen como "picada", básicamente una mini parrilla para 5 personas y con eso comimos, aunque también pedimos nachos, cócteles y una jarra de cerveza.

We were there for a big part of the night talking, planning some trips for the future and if I ever come back to visit other cool towns.
We exchanged Colombian-Venezuelan insults 🤣🤣, we fought a bit about whose Arepa was whose and what was the difference, and well we always had a topic of conversation out of context of work, as a memory or context totally apart, sincerely a well deserved group outing that will be difficult to repeat because of schedules and days off.

Estuvimos allí una gran parte de la noche hablando, planeamos algunos viajes para futuro y si en algún momento regreso visitar otros pueblos geniales.
Intercambiamos insultos Colombianos-Venezolanos 🤣🤣, peleamos un poco sobre de quien era la Arepa y cual era la diferencia, y bueno siempre tuvimos un tema de conversación fuera de contexto del trabajo, como un recuerdo o contexto totalmente aparte, sinceramente una merecida salida grupal que sera difícil repetir por los horarios y días libres.

The rest of the days when we work and it is our turn to open, we automatically turn on the radio and play music, everyone is in their place until we finish the tasks and if there are no people at that time, we start talking and talking and remembering what happened the night before, for example today's topic could be, some elderly customers who wanted to be served first than other tables that had 20 minutes waiting, they even made a fuss with those customers and well it is something worth remembering.
For example, I dropped a carton of eggs and broke 5 of them, but nobody knows about that, only us.

El resto de los días cuando trabajamos y nos toca abrir pues automáticamente prendemos la radio y colocamos música, cada quien esta en su lugar hasta que terminamos las tareas y si ni hay gente en ese momento, comenzamos a hablar y hablar y recordar lo que paso la noche anterior, por ejemplo el tema de hoy podría ser, unos clientes de la tercera edad que querían ser atendidos primero que otras mesas que tenían 20min esperando, incluso armaron escándalo con esos clientes y bueno es algo digno de recordar.
Por ejemplo también, se me cayo un cartón de huevos y rompí 5, pero eso no lo sabe mas nadie, solo nosotros.

And in other news I learned to make some dishes that I had never prepared before, I am in charge of taking orders in the store and home deliveries, uploading them to the system, charging, making milkshakes, but I am learning to cook lasagna, maicitos (something similar to lasagna) and burritos, and little by little I am learning more things.

Y que en otras noticias aprendí a hacer algunos platos que jamas había preparado, yo soy encargado de tomar los pedidos en el local y de domicilios, cargar eso al sistema, cobrar, hacer malteadas, pero estoy aprendiendo a cocinar lasañas, maicitos (algo parecido a la lasaña) y burritos, ya poco a poco aprendo mas cosas.

A couple of nights ago we were up until 1am making hamburger meat, but we bought some smirnoff and toasted so the work wouldn't be so hard, besides that we had too many large orders, family pizzas, tables of up to 5 lasagnas which take a long time to prepare and we were a little stressed, but we finished relatively quickly.

Un par de noches atrás estuvimos hasta la 1am haciendo carne de hamburguesas, pero compramos unas smirnoff y brindamos para que el trabajo no estuviera tan fuerte, ademas de eso tuvimos pedidos grandes y demasiados, pizzas familiares, mesas de hasta 5 lasañas las cuales llevan mucho tiempo de preparación y estábamos un poco estresados, peo terminamos relativamente rápido.

Sincerely I know that I will miss this routine, all the team members that without a doubt make me laugh in many occasions, I got used to them completely and well when I leave I will remember all these moments with them. Even though I don't have many pictures with Andrea because her days here are the busiest I will also remember all of her craziness.

Sinceramente se que extrañare esta rutina, a todos los del equipo que sin duda alguna me hacen reír en muchas ocasiones, me acostumbre completamente a ellos y bueno cuando me vaya recordare todos estos momentos con ellos. Aunque no tenga muchas fotos con Andrea por que sus días acá son los mas ocupados también recordare todas sus locuras.
