A warm greeting to all of us who are coffee lovers in this #cinnamoncupcoffee community.

When we visit a coffee shop we look at the shelves that offer us many snacks, sweet or savory, all of them appealing for their presentation, but which would be your favorite, to combine it with the drink of the gods, coffee, this is the question of this week in the weekly initiative that shows us this great community.

The truth is that when it comes to the desserts offered by each coffee shop we go to, they are all a temptation, because they all look apetesibles. Here in Venezuela there is a great variety of popular sweets of our country, but also the excellence of other countries, I have tried many and I accompany them with my coffee, and I do it occasionally and depending on the occasion in which I am, I choose any dessert and I do not add sugar or little of it to the coffee, since it makes me sick to my stomach.

It is true that it is a great combination to choose as an accompaniment a sweet appetizer, a dessert with coffee, and even elegant, but honestly I can enjoy my coffee more when this appetizer is something salty like a bread, Sandwich, Croissant, pastry, Empanadas or Arepas criollas and it represents our breakfast in almost every home in Venezuela.

Now, I tell you that my breakfast I always eat bread or with arepa and I always have my drink that awakens all my senses, and I enjoy it much more. This time I visited cafe con Bracamonte, this day I had medical exams, so I left my house without breakfast, since I had to be fasting.

After I found myself in this popular coffee shop in my city, I ordered my Cappuccino coffee with a Creole fish empanada, it was very early and I did not hesitate to visit it, since it offers a great variety of breakfasts in any style, be it Creole or American. I was already crazy for my coffee, as my head was starting to bother me, so I enjoyed this coffee to the fullest, and along with the empanada, which was delicious so I could congratulate the chef who even posed with her.

I really enjoy my coffee with a savory snack at breakfast or dinner and I can consider it the perfect combination.
