Iniciativa: Personajes con poca aparición (ESP/ENG)

Buenos días amigos, espero estén bien. Ya estamos terminando el mes y finalmente me decidí a participar en esta iniciativa que me parece bastante buena, pues es verdad que casi siempre nos enfocamos más en los protagonistas, pero hay personajes que con una sola o pocas apariciones mejoran mucho la serie.
Para este post voy a hablar sobre dos personajes de mi serie animada preferida "Muppet babies", los cuales hacían la serie más divertida cuando aparecían.

Muppet babies

Esta es mi serie animada preferida de todos los tiempos, la transmitían cuando yo era una niña y no me perdía ni un solo capítulo. La serie va sobre la vida de los muppets cuando son bebés y sus aventuras imaginarias en el jardín de infantes, dónde son cuidados por Nanny, un personaje al que nunca le vemos la cara. Los protagonistas de esta serie son la Rana René, Peggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, Kiko, Kika, Rufo y Animal, pero aparte del elenco principal habían dos personajes que aparecían de vez en cuando y me gustaban mucho, estos son Basilio y Beto, aún recuerdo sus voces como si los hubiera visto ayer, la verdad es que tanto ellos como la serie en general me traen muy bonitos recuerdos de mi niñez.

Basilio es un científico que siempre le está mostrando a los muppets sus últimos inventos, los que a veces salían muy desastrosos, pero que definitivamente eran muy ingeniosos y creativos. A mí de niña me encantaba ver cada invención que hacía, pues me parecían muy geniales y más la idea de ver a un bebé jugando a ser científico y que en realidad consiga hacer sus inventos y probarlos me fascinaba.
Basilio es un muppet verde, solo tiene un único cabello rizado en la cabeza, siempre viste con su bata de laboratorio, una bufanda roja y unas pantuflas de conejito, usa espejuelos y algo interesante es que no se le veían los ojos, lo que lo hace lucir más inteligente en mi opinión.

Beto es el ayudante de Basilio, al que siempre cojen de sujeto de prueba para probar todos los inventos, a pesar de que es muy tímido y nervioso. Tiene ojos grandes, pelo rojo y una expresión de preocupado todo el tiempo. Aunque no habla, se comunica con un chillido que suena como "mi-mi-mi", que se hace más intenso cuando está en problemas. Recuerdo un capítulo donde Beto tiene una pesadilla y esto le produce miedo a la oscuridad, entonces todos deciden ayudarlo a vencer este miedo. Lo veía tan tierno y asustadizo que me daban ganas de abrazarlo y protegerlo.

A pesar de no ser personajes principales, Basilio y Beto daban una bocanada de aire fresco al programa. Me encanta que fueran amigos y que tuvieran personalidades tan diferentes. Sus apariciones hacían el programa más divertido y me encanta que aparecieran en el intro de la serie, pues no sería lo mismo sin ese chillido característico de Beto.

En fin, son dos personajes de mi serie preferida que con sus pocas apariciones marcaron mi infancia y los recuerdo con mucho amor. Creo que podrían tener una serie aparte, que trataría sobre los inventos de Basilio y como Beto lo ayuda a probarlos. Pienso que sería muy entretenida y me gustaría ver que Beto superara sus miedos.

Good morning friends, I hope you are well. We are finishing the month and I finally decided to participate in this initiative that I think is pretty good, because it is true that we always focus more on the main characters, but there are characters that with a single or few appearances greatly improve the series.
For this post I'm going to talk about two characters from my favorite animated series "Muppet babies", which made the series funnier when they appeared.

This is my favorite animated series ever, they aired it when I was a kid and I never missed a single episode. The series is about the life of the muppets when they are babies and their imaginary adventures in kindergarten, where they are cared for by Nanny, a character whose face we never see. The main characters of this series are Baby Kermit, Baby Piggy, Baby Fozzie, Baby Gonzo, Baby Scooter, Baby Skeeter, Baby Rowlf and Baby Animal, but apart from the main cast there were two characters that appeared from time to time and I liked them a lot, these are Baby Bunsen Honeydew and Baby Beaker, I still remember their voices as if I had seen them yesterday, the truth is that both them and the series in general bring me very nice memories of my childhood.

Baby Bunsen Honeydew is a scientist who is always showing the muppets his latest inventions, which sometimes came out very disastrous, but were definitely very ingenious and creative. As a child I loved to see every invention he made, because I thought they were very cool and the idea of seeing a baby playing at being a scientist and actually getting to make his inventions and test them fascinated me.
Baby Bunsen Honeydew is a green muppet, he only has a single curly hair on his head, he always wears his lab coat, a red scarf and bunny slippers, he wears glasses and something interesting is that you can't see his eyes, which makes him look smarter in my opinion.

Baby Beaker is Baby Bunsen Honeydew's assistant, who is always taken as a test subject to test all the inventions, even though he is very shy and nervous. He has big eyes, red hair and a worried expression all the time. Although he doesn't speak, he communicates with a squeak that sounds like "mee-mee-mee-mee", which gets louder when he is in trouble. I remember a chapter where Beto has a nightmare and this makes him afraid of the dark, so everyone decides to help him overcome this fear. He looked so cute and scary that I wanted to hug him and protect him.

Despite not being main characters, Baby Bunsen Honeydew and Baby Beaker brought a breath of fresh air to the show. I love that they were friends and had such different personalities. Their appearances made the show funnier and I love that they appeared in the intro of the series, because it wouldn't be the same without Baby Beaker's signature squeal.

Anyway, they are two characters from my favorite series that with their few appearances marked my childhood and I remember them with a lot of love. I think they could have a spin off series, which would be about Baby Bunsen Honeydew's inventions and how Baby Beaker helps him to test them. I think it would be very entertaining and I would like to see Baby Beaker overcome his fears.
