Zingtober Day 28: Jumbo

Holo Everyone!

It's now the 28th day of Zingtober and today's prompt is "Jumbo". I'm quite excited for this prompt to come because I already have something on my mind. This is inspired by a scene from the 1988 Ghibli film "My Neighbor Totoro" where Mei went to the forest and saw Totoro lying down, and she climbed up and lay down on top of him.

Rough sketch. I had Miumiu and Ocean Healer as my models for today.

Painted the base values separating my subjects.

Added the light source here so I will know where to place my shadows.

Here I painted the shadows and added some details. I avoided rendering it too much and kept it as simple and gentle as my sleeping characters. But on painting the background I didn't hold myself back with the textures. And when I exported this on my phone to adjust the contrast I also adjusted a bit on temperature to give it a warm tone.
