Leoreview: LeoFinance adoption campaign on zealy - my review

Today when I think about the leofinance Adoption campaign on Zealy that recently ended on June 11th 2023, I smiled because I’m blown away. I’ve never participated or seen anything like this campaign ever before and the first thing I will like to do is give huge kudos to the whole team for organizing such an amazing yet challenging adventures.

To be honest, In my opinion i believe this campaign has done exactly what it’s set out to do. I also believe it has helped everyone that participated in one way or the other but you know I can’t speak for everyone but myself, right?

At first, before the campaign started I have that good feelings knowing this campaign will turn out great, even though as at the time i recently joined the hive blockchain but i was hooked with the leofinance community and seeing different hivers, promoting, writing posts about the campaign shows it’s a given for it to be a success.

Therefore, I will be making my review on the Leo adoption campaign on zealy that recently ended. in this post i will be sharing my review as well as my experience of the campaign. Happy reading!

The Campaign helped me learn more.
It’s obvious that the campaign has helped me in ways i was lacking and also improved my level of confidence. Talking of which, I never thought in a millions years that i would make a Vlog? On the blockchain? Concerning the CYOA - The Vlogger, not that it is bad or not that i haven’t make a video on the blockchain but in the aspect of making a content by talking about Economic, Business etc. was new to me, had it been it’s about writing I know I’m hundred percent for that but Vlog? It was a challenge that i conquered and I’m now proud i got to do it.

Actually, There are lot of other quests i learned from not just Vlogger. When we’re talking about CYOA - Finance Bro I must confess it was challenging because to pass this quests one must make at least 1,500 words on each of the topics. I could remember at my first trial I got a fail because my words is not up to what the quest was demanding, I felt sad on seeing the result but at the same time it motivated me to do better by making more research and eventually i became more creative and passes my other entry(s).

The last point i’ll give is about the CYOA - The Artist. Stressful as it was it’s still one of my best quest on the Leo zealy campaign because i had a roller coaster of emotions with the quests. Prior to the quest, i could remember the last time i picked up my pencil and sketch/draw or make an illustration would be year 2015 I remembered because the image of the person i at least tried to draw was someone special but this quest brought out my hidden talent in art again. One thing i can’t forget is that during this quests i injured my index finger, i got a fever, I was less motivated in some ways but i didn’t give up until i slayed the FINAL BOSS - BOSS SLAYER.

If it kept me engaged.
Apparently, Yes!!!, it did. It kept me engaged with other lions. Moreover with the quests at hand there’s no way you won’t be engaged for that XP and maybe getting some Leo tokens in return.

I believe this exposed me even more to the use of LeoThread and i remembered i’ve referred to this on a post i made previously which was true. Prior to the Leo zealy campaign I had 0 Leo token in my account and it because I didn’t know much about thread as at the time.

Fast forward to the campaign i got to know about Leofinance Thread a web 3 microblogging platform and instantly it changed my hive life game in which i wrote an article on how “LeoThread changed my hive life game”.

Also, with my constant engagements on threads i got to made my first 1,000 post/comment on hive blockchain within a month i joined the franchise.

If it was fun
Definitely Yes, it was fun. Most especially when we had the WEEKEND ENGAGEMENTS BATTLE quest where we needed to slay @Khaleelkazi, @anomadsoul, @rmsadkri, and @taskmaster4450, i remembered during that weekend we threadster were practically busy doing our thing. It was fun knowing if i made more threads i could get to slay one or two of the big bosses (not in real life though) :)

I thought that would be the must fun quest i would enjoyed but NOT SO FAST just in about two days to the end of the campaign we got a post announcement from @anomadsoul about a quest called “THE BATTLE OF THREE ARMIES” wow i was excited and thrilled, after reading the post and knowing I’ve made it to be in the White lions teams. The showdown was scheduled as an epic 36 hours of battle between the Black lions, White lions and the Brown lines that whoever made most points during the 36 hours between the lions would win the battle.

• With the price winner set to be 12k XP and a Boss Slayer NFT for the Army.
• Runners up Army with 5k XP.
• While the Third Army with 2Xp.

With these prices up for grabs you could feel the excitement we lions felt after reading this post and how eager we were to take on the battle. Apparently the battle happened and my team came third and to be honest i’m not sad about that because i know my team gave their best. but at the same time it shows the hunger and the level of fighting spirits in other lions and hence their victory. So for me the campaign was fun.

if it was helpful in social media/ if it helped Leo reach more people.
With the use of social media I believe Leo got to reach more people with the constant quests that involve the use of twitter whereby we needed to tweet while adding our post links telling the people on twitter about such quest. Through that i believe Leo has reach more people and personally i got to bring friends onboard.

What I could change/ what i would keep the same.
If I could change anything? Honestly i don’t I need to say much on this because i know the team are working tirelessly behind the scenes and it’s something we users can see almost everyday be it in terms of updates made on making long form post on the UI or the constant updates on thread.

Now thread is becoming more and more bug free, it’s not there being perfect but we all users can see the improved changes from the update so I would like the team to keep up the same energy towards making thread more bug free.

Actually, one thing i would wish for is the newbie’s to be getting recognition from the team in regards to their posts/contents. I know that would motivate them to do more and also be able to introduce more people to the LeoVerse.

In conclusion.
The Leo adoption campaign on zealy recorded a massive success and in the process improved lot of us the participants by enhancing our knowledge about finance, crypto the blockchain technology etc.
i also believed with the constant feedback from the lions during the campaign it has also improved our UI with constant updates being made by the team as well on threads. For these reason for me the campaign is a success. I don’t know when the next campaign will be but whenever it might be Gods willing I’d be there no matter what.
