RE: Kaleidoscopes On View

In retrospect, I wonder what happened to all those things that were once such a source of joy and diversion.
One of them, of course, was the tubular kaleidoscope, which was often permanently fixed in front of my left or right eye. It was so much more exciting than going to see Uncle Peter on Sundays and listening to him talk about the war he just lost. 😩🤢
