Alba: slow food and nature in a city
Yesterday, in Italy, it was public holiday so we decided to go to Alba.
Alba is a pretty city in the north west of Italy.
It lays on Langhe that is a territory characterized by sweet hills.
These hills are famous because it’s the perfect habitat for vineyards: it is sunny, not windy in the most of year. So this is the land of famous wines as Barbera, Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo.
This land is rich: people understood that tourism is important and if you can valorise slow food, people would come.
And so Alba is also known for truffles and truffles can attract tourists.
Anyway. Going on Alba is a nice experience if you want to stay in the nature, far from smog or urban chaos, without stress, drinking good wine, walking and buying precious things.
Have you ever been here?
All photos were shot by my smartphone.

Thank you for the comment too.
If you'll come in Italy, please don't visit only Rome, Milan and Venice but you can go also on Langhe (the land of Alba).
