Belleza inhóspita

El viento sopla frío y fuerte;
es un grito que se pierde en la noche.

El cielo amanece detrás de las nubes
y el sol se asoma tímidamente.

La nieve cae como un velo de cristal,
cubre al mundo de blanco;
el amanecer es una vida helada.

Los árboles se cubren de escarcha
como si estuvieran hechos de vidrio,
y el río, por primera es un espejo.

Es un amanecer de belleza inhóspita,
de una belleza fría y salvaje,
que nos recuerda la fuerza de la naturaleza,
y la fragilidad de la vida.

The wind blows cold and strong;
it's a cry that gets lost in the night.

The sky dawns behind the clouds
and the sun peeks timidly.

The snow falls like a crystal veil,
covers the world in white;
the dawn is a frozen life.

The trees are covered with frost
as if they were made of glass,
and the river, for the first time is a mirror.

It is a dawn of inhospitable beauty,
of a cold and wild beauty,
that reminds us of the strength of nature,
and the fragility of life.
