Snow in Jerusalem - my exploration of the white city. (series of photographs).
This "snowfall" was predicted very well by the weather forecast and I was equipped and ready to drive to Jerusalem after the workday in the evening. But. Something goes wrong, I was too tired for this adventure, and as I saw in the live cameras from Jerusalem and the roads around, it was just raining, and were no signs of snow. Later at night, the roads to Jerusalem were closed, the massive snowfall started, and I got definitely that I missed the moment.
The next moment I was watching the live cameras on the roads leading to Jerusalem, and when I saw that the traffic started, I went on the road immediately.
Sure one the next day it was very different and not too powerful like it was during the night of the snowy storm. The snow was mixed with water and melting, but still, looked interesting and unusual.
I visited some forests in the mountains around the city and close to the evening arrived at the Light rail station, where I parked my car and went to explore the streets of the outskirts and Yad Va Shem museum.
Then I moved to the central part of the city and found a little bit less snow but much more water. The streets were shining like diamonds. A little later it started to rain and I used my small umbrella with the goal to save the camera dry and clean.

Nice! We just got a bunch of snow here yesterday, I guess now I have to go out and shoot it too 😎 How often does it snow there?
thank you, my friend,
not too often, once every few years and most often melts immediately
so, it's why i wanted to go there for these scenes - actually, people are absolutely not ready for the snow.
we have no right facilities to suffer the real snowy storm
a good thing should be continued, yes please!
I love the streetlife scenes you captures, and the simple textures like this, as well:
