Promesa de girasoles / Promise of sunflowers
Cómo resalta su color, un amarillo que va siempre tras el sol. Sea solo o acompañado, el girasol brilla con mucho fulgor, siendo una de las flores más hermosas en todo el mundo, siendo una de las más profundo significado y valor.
¿Qué es para mí un girasol? Es una promesa, una que no se puede romper por mucho tiempo que pase. Una esperanza, esperanza de que las cosas van a mejorar, no importa si para ello se deben hacer sacrificios, sin importar si se tienen que separar, o pausar, amistades, amores, etc., porque lo que realmente vale la pena es el resultado final, ese que permite cumplir la promesa, dando alegría y felicidad a todos por igual, haciendo realidad la esperanza.
Un girasol es mucho más que una simple flor, porque evoca recuerdos imborrables, esos que permanecen en el tiempo, porque nos permiten rememorar instantes tan maravillosos y, al mismo tiempo, se mezclan con la nostalgia de un adiós, o de un “hasta luego”.
Nadie quiere esperar, menos alejarse de quienes ama, pero a veces es imposible evitarlo. Es en esos momentos cuando la esperanza juega su mejor papel, es ahí cuando la confianza en la promesa de volver se convierte en un ancla que protege el alma. Y es justo allí cuando la belleza del girasol da un motivo más para creer, para convencerse de que, pase lo que pase, nuestra confianza es total y absoluta.
Tal como el sol sale todos los días, así como el girasol una y otra vez busca su brillo, así de segura es la promesa, firme, real. No hace falta prometer, no es necesario hacerlo, la mayoría prefiere solo actuar y ya, pero siento que es mejor hacer una promesa, una que sirva de compromiso, que deje constancia de nuestro objetivo.
Por eso hoy, dejo un girasol, una imagen que dice mucho más que todas las palabras del mundo, un girasol que, además de llenar de belleza el lugar, también me recuerde cuál es el norte a seguir, que nos dé la fortaleza y determinación para cada día mantenernos en el camino elegido, el que nos lleve a cumplir con la promesa realizada. Porque así como el girasol busca el sol, yo estaré resuelto a dar los pasos necesarios para cumplir mi palabra.
Tan hermoso girasol, que además de ser un deleite para la vista, es de gran utilidad para la vida. Pero claro, necesita tiempo para reunir todas esas virtudes y ponerlas a disposición de los demás. Lo mismo pasa con los seres humanos, necesitamos tiempo para recargar las baterías, pulir nuestra personalidad y dar lo mejor de nosotros.
Girasoles, tan maravillosos y únicos, cuánta felicidad produce solo mirarlos. Antes podía observarlos durante todo el día sin descanso, aunque solo admiraba su belleza, ahora lo haré cada día para recordarme la promesa que he hecho, de ahora en adelante un girasol frente a mí será un momento lleno de reflexión, compromiso y determinación.
Así como el girasol va buscando cada día el sol, así buscaré yo el regreso a mi hogar, el hogar que nunca debí y nunca quise dejar. Es una promesa, una que jamás voy a olvidar.

How its color stands out, a yellow that always goes after the sun. Whether alone or accompanied, the sunflower shines with much brilliance, being one of the most beautiful flowers in the whole world, being one of the most profound meaning and value.
What is a sunflower to me? It is a promise, one that cannot be broken no matter how much time passes. A hope, hope that things will get better, no matter if sacrifices have to be made, no matter if friendships, love, etc. have to be separated, or paused, because what is really worth it is the end result, the one that allows the promise to be fulfilled, giving joy and happiness to all equally, making hope a reality.
A sunflower is much more than a simple flower, because it evokes indelible memories, those that remain in time, because they allow us to recall such wonderful moments and, at the same time, are mixed with the nostalgia of a goodbye, or a "see you later".
No one wants to wait, let alone move away from those they love, but sometimes it is impossible to avoid it. It is in those moments when hope plays its best role, when trust in the promise to return becomes an anchor that protects the soul. And it is right there when the beauty of the sunflower gives one more reason to believe, to be convinced that, whatever happens, our confidence is total and absolute.
Just as the sun rises every day, just as the sunflower again and again seeks the brightness of the sun, so sure is the promise, firm, real. It is not necessary to promise, it is not necessary to do it, most people prefer to just act and that's it, but I feel it is better to make a promise, one that serves as a commitment, that leaves a record of our goal.
That is why today, I leave a sunflower, an image that says much more than all the words in the world, a sunflower that, besides filling the place with beauty, also reminds me which is the north to follow, that gives us the strength and determination to keep us every day on the chosen path, the one that leads us to fulfill the promise made. Because just as the sunflower seeks the sun, I will be determined to take the necessary steps to keep my word.
Such a beautiful sunflower, which besides being a delight to the eye, is very useful for life. But of course, it needs time to gather all these virtues and make them available to others. The same happens with human beings, we need time to recharge our batteries, polish our personality and give the best of ourselves.
Sunflowers, so wonderful and unique, how happy they are just to look at them. Before I could watch them all day long without rest, even if I only admired their beauty, now I will do it every day to remind me of the promise I have made, from now on a sunflower in front of me will be a moment full of reflection, commitment and determination.
Just as the sunflower looks for the sun each day, so will I look for my return to my home, the home I never should have and never wanted to leave. It is a promise, one I will never forget.
