Cumpleaños de nuestra amiga (ESP/ENG)

I hope you are all well, today I would like to share with you a nice moment we had a couple of days ago, it was the birthday of my friend and neighbour, whom we have known for many, many years since she moved to this urbanisation on the same day as us more than 30 years ago. She decided to organise a small party for her birthday and invited my wife and me.
Espero que todos se encuentren bien, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes un grato momento que tuvimos hace un par de días, se trata del cumpleaños de mi amiga y vecina, ala cual conocemos desde hace muchísimos años debido a que ella se mudó a esta urbanización el mismo día que nosotros hace más de 30 años. Ella decidió organizar una pequeña fiesta por su cumpleaños y nos invitó a mi esposa y a mi.
She has always been very charismatic and funny and her age is a mystery, I know that many ladies do not like to talk about their age, but with her we always laugh because we know that she is much older than she looks, she even has teenage grandchildren, almost adults, but it must be a genetic thing because her mother also looks very young and beautiful, she is a very kind, affectionate and above all cheerful lady.
Ella siempre ha sido muy carismática y graciosa y lo de su edad es todo un misterio, sé que a muchas damas no les gusta hablar sobre su edad, pero con ella siempre nos reímos porque sabemos que ella tiene mucha más edad de la que aparenta, incluso tiene nietos adolescente, casi adultos, pero es que debe ser una cuestión genética porque su mamá también se ve muy joven y hermosa, es una señora muy amable, cariñosa y sobre todo alegre.
We also laughed a lot when we saw the decoration of the party as she did it as if it was a 15 years party, even in the background we could hear the traditional waltz that the quinceañeras dance, and everyone said that she would dance at any moment.
También nos reímos un montón cuando vimos la decoración de la fiesta ya que lo hizo como si se tratara de una fiesta de 15 años, incluso de fondo se escuchaba el tradicional vals que bailan las quinceañeras, y todos decían que ella bailaría en cualquier momento.
We sing the traditional Happy Birthday, I think Venezuelans have the longest birthday song in the world, but we enjoy it because it is full of good wishes for friends and family. The cakes were delicious, with strawberries, hazelnuts and almonds, as well as a delicious custard filling.
Cantamos el tradicional Cumpleaños feliz, creo que los venezolanos tenemos la canción de cumpleaños más larga del mundo, pero la disfrutamos porque está llena de buenos deseos para los amigos y la familia. Las tortas estaban deliciosas, tenían fresas, avellanas y almendras, además de un exquisito relleno de crema pastelera.
And of course there is always the one who modifies the lyrics of the song and makes it very funny, but always with joy because that is what our friend is like, candid and very cheerful.
Y desde luego no puede faltar el que modifique la letra de la canción a gusto y la haga muy graciosa, pero siempre con la alegría por delante porque así es nuestra amiga, cándida y muy alegre
We really had a nice evening where we got out of the routine to celebrate our friend's honomastic, we laughed, we danced, we told anecdotes, we ate delicious food and we relaxed a lot. These moments of happiness fill the soul and allow us to store memories that will last a lifetime in our memories and hearts. I wish you much health, happiness and prosperity for your years to come.
De verdad que pasamos una linda noche donde salimos de la rutina para festejar el onomástico de nuestra amiga, reímos, bailamos, contamos anécdotas, comimos delicioso y nos relajamos un montón. Estos momentos de felicidad llenan el alma y nos permite almacenar recuerdos que durarán para toda la vida en nuestras memorias y corazones. Le deseo mucha salud, felicidad y prosperidad para sus años venideros.
