Company Memories (ESP/ENG)
Hi, I hope you are well, this is my first time uploading content in this community and in fact I think this is my fourth post since I decided to open my account recently, my daughters already had time in Hive, @bethyjade for six years and @mairene1 for 3 years, and even my wife @carmen1659 joined recently and since then she did not stop insisting that I should also be part of this social network. Little by little I have been adapting to it because I really like learning, and the good thing is that my daughters took a whole day to explain to us in detail how it works, the rules and the way we can create content on Hive.
Hola, espero que estén bien, esta es mi primera vez subiendo contenido en esta comunidad y de hecho creo que es mi cuarto post desde que decidí abrir mi cuenta hace poco, mis hijas ya tenían tiempo en Hive, @bethyjade desde hace seis y @mairene1 desde hace 3, e incluso mi esposa @carmen1659 se incorporó recientemente y desde entonces no dejó de insistir para que yo también formara parte de esta red social. Poco a poco he ido adaptándome a ella porque me gusta mucho aprender, y lo bueno es que mis hijas tomaron un día completo para explicarnos a detalle el funcionamiento, las reglas y la forma en la que podemos crear contenido en Hive.
They also told me about this community and this weekly activity, here I confess that I was blocked, at first I did not know what I could do, since I do not really like taking or being taken pictures, however after thinking about it I thought that there were some that I could share, and recently I was talking with a great friend of mine who was also my boss in the company where I worked for 16 years, it is about Elmor Laboratories, a company dedicated to the manufacture of medicines, recently my friend and I were discussing anecdotes of that time when we worked there about 30 years ago, and even exchanged photographs, so I thought that might be a good time to share, I hope you like it.
También me hablaron de esta comunidad y de esta actividad semanal, aquí les confieso que me bloqueé, al inicio no sabía que podía hacer, ya que no me gusta mucho tomar o que me tomen fotografías, sin embargo luego de meditarlo pensé que había unas que podría compartir, y es que recientemente estuve conversando con un gran amigo mío que también fue mi jefe en la empresa donde trabajé por 16 años, se trata de laboratorios Elmor, una empresa dedicada a la fabricación de medicamentos, recientemente mi amigo y yo estábamos comentando anécdotas de esa época cuando trabajábamos allí hace unos 30 años, e incluso intercambiamos fotografías, por eso pensé que ese podría ser un buen momento para compartir, espero les guste.
In this photograph I was about 25 years old (it seems incredible how time goes by) I am with the president of the company, Piero Salvatore, who was giving me an award as employee of the year, because I liked to take my work seriously and I was known among my colleagues for the order I kept in my office, they said I was quite exaggerated in that, but I liked it that way. I always treated my staff with respect and fairness, the same way I liked to be treated, although obviously, as in every company there is always a bit of rivalry and friction, I won't lie to you.
En esta fotografía yo tenía unos 25 años (parece mentira como pasa el tiempo) estoy con el presidente de la empresa, Piero Salvatore, el cual me estaba entregando un reconocimiento como empleado del año, ya que me gustaba tomarme mi trabajo enserio y era conocido entre mis compañeros por el orden que mantenía en mi oficina, decían que era bastante exagerado en eso, pero a mi me gustaba así. Siempre traté a mi personal con respeto y con justicia, de la misma manera en que me gustaba ser tratado, aunque obviamente, como en toda empresa siempre hay poco de rivalidad y roces, no les voy a mentir.
And this other photograph is from a couple of years before (it's even older) from left to right is me, in the middle is my brother and on the right was my friend and then boss. It was the New Year's Eve party that always took place at the Intercontinental hotel in Valencia. The photograph is old but it perfectly captures the essence of the moment. During those parties we took the opportunity to relax a little for the arrival of the holidays. , so all the workers had a great time, forgetting about the company's responsibilities.
Y esta otra fotografía es de un par de años antes (es aún más vieja) de izquierda a derecha estoy yo, en el medio está mi hermano y a la derecha estaba mi amigo y entonces jefe. Se trataba de la fiesta de fin de año que siempre se llevaba a cabo en el hotel Intercontinental de Valencia, La fotografía es vieja pero captura perfectamente la esencia del momento, durante esas fiestas aprovechábamos de distendernos un poco a propósito de la llegada de las vacaciones, así que todos los trabajadores pasábamos muy buenos ratos, olvidándonos de las responsabilidades de la empresa.
I hope you liked it, these are memories that mark a very beautiful stage in my life, fortunately I made good friends in Elmor and I still keep in touch with some of them. Remembering the past in a certain way is like reliving those moments and enjoying them to the fullest, which is why I do not regret having shared with you these photographs, which for me are like valuable jewels. Espero que les haya gustado, estos son recuerdos que marcan una etapa muy bonita en mi vida, afortunadamente hice buenos amigos en Elmor y aún mantengo contacto con algunos de ellos. Recordar el pasado de cierta manera es como volver a vivir esos momentos y disfrutarlos a plenitud, por eso no me arrepiento de haber compartido con ustedes estas fotografías que para mi son como joyas valiosas. Gracias por permitirme ser parte de esta iniciativa, les deseo un feliz día lleno de éxito.

jaja siempre lo he dicho, mi tío Héctor se parecía a Don Ramón en esa foto 😄 no viví esa época pero se nota que la pasaban muy bien en esas fiestas de la compañía, sobre todo con los chistes de Nery Granadillo que tú siempre dices que él contaba.
