[Splinterlands] Regal Peryton - Art Contest

To capture the essence of Regal Peryton, I decided to use the grayscale drawing technique, followed by the application of colors.

I began by immersing myself in the world of this magnificent character. I researched, looked for references and imagined how he would look in different poses and environments. I wanted to make sure I captured all the details that made him unique, from his elegant horns to his majestic wings.

Once I had a clear idea of what I wanted to achieve, I fired up my iPad pro and opened my procreate program.

I began by sketching the basic outlines of the Peryton with soft, light strokes. I wanted to make sure the proportions were correct and that his posture conveyed all the nobility and power he possessed. As the lines took shape, I could feel the excitement and anticipation building inside me.

Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I began to add the details. I paid special attention to the eyes, trying to capture the intelligence and kindness they radiated. Slowly, the Peryton's features became more defined and his personality began to emerge on the digital canvas.

Then, it was time to add shadows and highlights. With soft, subtle brush strokes, I began to create an illusion of volume and texture in the drawing. I loved seeing how the shapes gained depth and how the magic of the Peryton seemed to shine through the screen.

Comencé sumergiéndome en el mundo de este magnífico personaje. Investigué, busqué referencias e imaginé cómo se vería en diferentes poses y ambientes. Quería asegurarme de capturar todos los detalles que lo hacían único, desde sus cuernos elegantes hasta sus alas majestuosas.

Una vez que tuve una idea clara de lo que quería lograr, encendí mi iPad pro y abrí mi programa de procreate.

Comencé esbozando los contornos básicos del Peryton con trazos suaves y ligeros. Quería asegurarme de que las proporciones fueran correctas y que su postura transmitiera toda la nobleza y poder que poseía. A medida que las líneas cobraban forma, podía sentir la emoción y la anticipación aumentando dentro de mí.

Una vez que estuve satisfecho con el esbozo, comencé a agregar los detalles. Presté especial atención a los ojos, tratando de capturar la inteligencia y la bondad que irradiaban. Lentamente, los rasgos del Peryton se volvieron más definidos y su personalidad comenzó a surgir en el lienzo digital.

Once I was satisfied with the grayscale, the most exciting moment came: adding color. I carefully selected a palette of lilacs, blues and pinks that complemented the magical nature of the character. Slowly, I began to apply layers of color, taking care not to lose the shadows and highlights I had previously created.

As the colors merged and the Peryton came to life in my drawing, I couldn't help but feel a deep satisfaction and joy. Watching my artistic interpretation materialize in front of my eyes was a thrilling experience. I felt connected to the character, as if I was actually interacting with him in my own creation.

With each stroke, with each mix of colors, I felt like I was weaving a story, a story of nobility, magic and protection. It was an artistic journey filled with passion and commitment, but also joy and fascination.

As I finished my digital drawing of Regal Peryton, I felt a deep sense of accomplishment and gratitude. I had succeeded in capturing my vision on digital canvas and sharing my unique interpretation of this magical being with the world. It reminded me why art is so important to me: it is a form of expression that allows us to connect with other beings and convey emotions and experiences beyond words.

Una vez que estuve satisfecho con la escala de grises, llegó el momento más emocionante: agregar color. Seleccione cuidadosamente una paleta de colores entre lilas, azules y rosados que complementara la naturaleza mágica del personaje. Lentamente, comencé a aplicar capas de color, cuidando de no perder las sombras y luces que había creado previamente.
