[Splinterlands] Lyanna Natura - Art Contest

The first step I took was to make a sketch of Lyanna. I wanted to convey her youthful essence and vibrant energy in my artwork, so I opted for a pose that reflected tenderness and determination at the same time, I also added details like a pair of sunglasses to give her a modern and current touch.

Once I was satisfied with the sketch, I started working on the illustration. First, I worked with the base colors, for this I was guided by the color palette of the original image, as you know I separated the colors by layers for a better control of them. Once I had those colors ready, I started to vary a little the tonalities, applying some shadows and glows, in these first steps I refine little by little the details of the drawing, blurring and mixing the layers to obtain a finer and smoother result.

El primer paso que tomé fue realizar un boceto de Lyanna. Quería transmitir su esencia juvenil y su energía vibrante en mi obra de arte, por lo que opté por una pose que reflejara ternura y determinación al mismo tiempo, también añadi detalles como un par de gafas de sol para darle un toque moderno y actual.

Una vez que estaba satisfecho con el boceto, comencé a trabajar en la ilustración. En primer lugar, trabajé con los colores base, para esto me guíe en la paleta de colores de la imagen original, cómo ya saben separó los colores por capas para un mejor control de ellos. Una vez que tuve dichos colores listos, empecé a variar un poco las tonalidades, aplicando algo de sombras y brillos, en estos primeros pasos voy refinando poco a poco los detalles del dibujo, difuminando y mezclando las capas para obtener un resultado más fino y suave.

Next I detail the character, here I define the expression of Lyanna's face, I wanted her smile to reflect tenderness in her, accompanied by her glasses, it brings a good combination to the final design, I also finish drawing the hair and I add the glows to the character, both in the primary and secondary lighting.

Once the character was ready, I concentrated on creating the background. Since Lyanna is a protector of nature, I wanted to depict her in an environment that was rich in flora elements. Therefore, I added various types of vegetation and flowers to my illustration to create a vibrant and lively environment.

Finally, I made some final adjustments to the image, making sure that all the details were accurate and that the composition was appealing and cohesive.

In summary, creating this Lyanna Natura fanart for the Splinterlands art contest was an exciting and challenging process for me as a digital artist. I hope my illustration managed to capture the youthful and spunky essence of this iconic character and was well received by the community. Thank you for reading and for your support!

Seguidamente paso a detallar el personaje, acá defino la expresión del rostro de Lyanna, quise que en su sonrisa reflejará ternura en ella, acompañada de sus lentes, aporta una buena combinación al diseño final, también termino de dibujar el cabello y voy agregando los brillos al personaje, tanto en la iluminación primaria como secundaria.

Una vez que el personaje estuvo listo, me concentré en los crear el fondo. Como Lyanna es una protectora de la naturaleza, quería representarla en un entorno que fuera rico en elementos de flora. Por lo tanto, añadí varios tipos de vegetación y flores a mi ilustración para crear un ambiente vibrante y lleno de vida.

Finalmente, hice algunos ajustes finales a la imagen, asegurándome de que todos los detalles fueran precisos y que la composición fuera atractiva y cohesiva.

En resumen, crear este fanart de Lyanna Natura para el concurso de arte de Splinterlands fue un proceso emocionante y desafiante para mí como artista digital.
