[Splinterlands] KIARA LIGHTBRINGER - Art Contest
Hello everyone, welcome to my art blog. I'm excited to have the opportunity to take part in the Splinterlands sponsored art contest. This contest is an excellent opportunity for digital artists from all over the world to showcase their skills and give a twist to the gaming industry. This time, I chose Kiara Lightbringer to use as the theme for my digital art. She is an amazing and powerful character that has become a favorite in Splinterlands. This is an excellent motivation for my work within the game industry. I have been working steadily on my digital art to be up to par for this contest. My goal is to achieve the best possible quality in my artwork, as this is a professional art contest. I am very excited to see the final result of my work and I hope with all my heart that the contest judges will appreciate my work. This is a great opportunity to showcase my talent as a digital artist. I am committed to work hard and do my best to make the most of this opportunity and stand out among the other participants. From defining the colors to selecting the elements for the scene, I am working with all my might to produce the best possible result. I hope that the work I have done so far will be enough to stand out in this contest. I feel passionate and motivated to work on digital art and achieve the best possible results.

Hola a todos, bienvenido a mi blog de arte. Estoy entusiasmado de tener la oportunidad de tomar parte en el concurso de arte patrocinado por Splinterlands. Este concurso es una excelente oportunidad para los artistas digitales de todo el mundo para mostrar sus habilidades y dar un giro a la industria de los juegos. Esta vez, elegí a Kiara Lightbringer para usar como tema para mi arte digital. Ella es un personaje increíble y poderoso que se ha convertido en uno de los favoritos de Splinterlands. Esto es una excelente motivación para mi trabajo dentro de la industria de los juegos. He estado trabajando de manera constante en mi arte digital para estar a la altura de este concurso. Mi objetivo es lograr la mejor calidad posible en mis obras de arte, ya que se trata de un concurso de arte profesional. Estoy muy emocionado de ver el resultado final de mi trabajo y espero de todo corazón que los jueces del concurso aprecien mi trabajo. Esta es una gran oportunidad para mostrar mi talento como artista digital. Estoy comprometido a trabajar duro y hacer todo lo posible para aprovechar al máximo esta oportunidad y destacar entre los demás participantes. Desde la definición de los colores hasta la selección de los elementos para la escena, estoy trabajando con todas mis fuerzas para producir el mejor resultado posible. Espero que el trabajo que he hecho hasta ahora sea suficiente para destacar en este concurso. Me siento apasionado y motivado para trabajar en el arte digital y lograr los mejores resultados posibles.

Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️ 
Kiara is the younger of the two daughters of the famous summoner couple Aggroedius Lightbringer and Lyanna Natura. Unlike her sister Talia, who was found in an unhatched Dragon egg, Kiara is a true Khymian. She was created by the hands of Khymia Herself and delivered from the western sky by the great white flying Tiger, Kralus. Kiara is the youngest summoner in the history of the tournament games.
Kiara es la menor de las dos hijas de la famosa pareja de invocadores Aggroedius Lightbringer y Lyanna Natura. A diferencia de su hermana Talía, que fue encontrada en un huevo de dragón sin eclosionar, Kiara es una verdadera khymiana. Fue creada por las manos de la propia Khymia y liberada desde el cielo occidental por el gran tigre blanco volador, Kralus. Kiara es la invocadora más joven de la historia de los juegos de torneo.
Designing Kiara Lightbringer was a fun and interesting process. I started with a quick inspiration from the illustration found on the game page. I used the procreate app and my faithful iPad pro to create a simple sketch of the character, this time I wanted to modify a little the concept of the character, instead of being a warrior I transformed her into an adventurous explorer, I used different tools and techniques such as soft curved lines and pencil brush to complete the sketch. Then I moved on to the painting stage of the work, I used as a guide the colors of the reference image, I started to place the base colors in each part of the drawing, and from there I was detailing the different elements of Kiara's costume, adding shadows, shines and textures.
Diseñar a Kiara Lightbringer fue un proceso divertido e interesante. Comencé con una inspiración rápida a partir de la ilustración que se encuentra en la página del juego. Usé la app procreate y mi fiel iPad pro para crear un boceto sencillo del personaje, en esta oportunidad quise modificar un poco el concepto del personaje, en vez de ser una guerrera la transforme en una aventurera exploradora, use diferentes herramientas y tecnicas como líneas curvas suaves y pincel lapiz para culminar el boceto. Luego pase a la etapa de pintado de la obra, use como guía los colores de la imagen de referencia, empecé a colocar los colores base en cada parte del dibujo, y partir de allí fui detallando los diferentes elementos del vestuario de Kiara, agregándole desde sombras, brillos y texturas.

Once I finished several of the elements of the character's clothes, I started to work on the design of the face and hair, this is my favorite part of the process, it allowed me to be more creative and explore new ways of drawing, especially for the development of the hair, this time I was watching tutorial videos on Youtube to make curly hair, I think I improved a little in this aspect, the technique itself is to develop the hair through several layers of locks, from the darkest base layer and little by little you add other a little lighter, so you get more volume in the hair, I was developing the facial features as I usually aycer, to obtain a colorful and vibrant representation of the character.
The final result was a high quality illustration that shows Kiara Lightbringer as a brave and intelligent explorer with an immeasurable inner strength. I am very happy with the result and proud to have the opportunity to take part in the Splinterlands contest. I can't wait to see the results of the contest - stay tuned for the results!
Una vez que termine varios de los elementos de la ropa del personaje personaje, comencé a trabajar en el diseño del rostro y cabello, esta es mi parte favorita del proceso, me permitió ser mas creativo y explorar nuevas formas de dibujo, especialmente para la elaboración del cabello, en esta ocasión estuve viendo vídeos tutoriales en Youtube para realizar cabello rizado, creo que mejore un poco en este aspecto, la técnica en sí consiste en desarrollar el cabello a través de varias capas de mechones, desde la capa base más oscura y poco a poco vas agregando otras un poco más claras, de tal forma que vas obteniendo más volúmen en el cabello, fui desarrollando las facciones del rostro como suelo aycer, hasta obtener una representación colorida y vibrante del personaje.
El resultado final fue una ilustración de gran calidad que muestra a Kiara Lightbringer como una exploradora valiente e inteligente con una fuerza interior inconmensurable. Estoy muy contento con el resultado y me siento orgulloso de tener la oportunidad de tomar parte en el concurso de Splinterlands. Estoy muy impaciente por ver los resultados del mismo. ¡Estén atentos para ver los resultados!
