Bumble, Word Trip, Quizizz, Kahoot, and the Role of Context in My App Use
One of the major beauties of our smartphones are the numerous apps we've got in them that can have different purposes and user cases, and can go on to make our navigation and living easier, as some could go as far as helping us do things from the comfort of our room that would have on a normal day warranted us to go out and spend hours to achieve such; however, despite how efficient these apps are, there are still some that seem useless or unused for weeks, and today I'll love to tell you about such apps I've got on my phone, why they've been redundant, and if I can do away with them.
Immediately I saw this week's prompt topics; the first thing that came to mind was a reminder that I wanted to delete some apps to clear up some space and make my phone run smoothly. I can remember the last time I checked, my storage indicates applications alone have occupied 45 gigabytes of space, and these made me realize I needed to do something, especially since I'm not using the majority of them, but one thing led to another, which made me forget about it until now.
So talking about the applications that are somewhat redundant on my phone at the moment, I had to visit a segment on my phone to see the less used app, and it gave me the following as apps I haven't opened in the last three to four months: some are quite surprising, but after a while I realized why because some of the apps on this list were once regulars for me, so I was at first shocked when I saw them there, but then I'll tell you about those apps and why, all of a sudden, they're redundant.
The oldest on the list is the Bumble app. I can remember my friend downloading and opening this app on my phone about five months ago. He said it's a dating app, and he'll want me to use it so I can at least get a girlfriend. It was quite funny, and I can't help but laugh at him going to that length, but then I understand his concern. Well, the truth is, aside from the first week he downloaded the app and I snuffed through it, and I haven't opened it again.
That makes it somewhat redundant and useless to be, and paraventure, I delete it. I'm certain it won't affect my life in any way because I'm not shy or frightened to approach a lady if I want to. Second and third on the list of redundant apps on my phone are the word trip game and the Remini app. The first is a game I once used to enjoy playing as it helps with my critical thinking and as well improves my spelling skills; however, I got bored and hardly used it again, while the remini app is an AI photo enhancer that I used at a time but as well got bored and never used again till date.
The most recent that I haven't used in the last two months are apps that are one of my most frequently used apps; these are Quizizz and Kahoot, which are educational apps I usually use for time-based digital assessment for my students, and the reason being me not using them in the last two months was because two months ago was around exam period and after that we went on break, so I've got no reason for using them.
Delecting these two particular apps will affect me a lot because I've invested a lot of time and energy in presetting tests and questioners that can help aid learning and understanding of my students, and had it not been for the just concluded holiday, it would have been a regular app on my device, but I'm sure it'll be by next week and going forward in the course of this new academic section.
That's about all for today. I hope you enjoyed the read. Do have a wonderful day and stay blessed.

Thank you.
Please don't get rid of the Bumble app😅
You say what?
I already deleted it after writing this post, I'm not searching.😂
Dating app! That's actually crazy , I have never taught of downloading such apps before. But you can leave it you might meet your soul mate there🤣
Lol, like I said my friend downloaded it because I refuse to get a girlfriend since my last relationship.
But then I already deleted it, I'll see the soul mate physically.
You are accusing me of raring the apps on my phone, what are you doing now? 🤣🤣🤣
Hehehe. Keep that Bumble app oo. You will need it again 🤣
These apps can be funny especially seeing how you have never opened them for a long time and why are they still there?
Everyone has one or more app that hasn't be opened for months. Some of these apps used to be our frequently used apps but now no longer needed.
