[SPA-ENG] Arte abstracto

I have met people who don't understand abstract art because they are looking for something figurative in it. Many say that "it leaves them with nothing", but what they don't understand is that this type of art proposes a new reality through our thoughts, emotions and feelings. We capture our inner world in a very literal way. Nothing is by chance. It is not about experimenting with random things, everything has a meaning. From the colours we are going to use to what we are going to draw.
Most of my paintings have always had this kind of artistic expression. I love the visual impact of colour and shapes. The abstract is perceived in a very different way, it breaks away from what is known and invites the viewer into a parallel reality. It is very unique in its own way, it transgresses convention and takes you out of your comfort zone. Within the "simple" there is something wonderful to highlight; simple is not necessarily vague.
Color psychology
Drawing has helped me a lot to psychoanalyse myself. It has helped me to monitor my state of mind through the colors I use.
Yellow does not stand out among my favourites, however, in this drawing it gained more strength. Throughout these days my mood has been very fluctuating and I have felt my creativity dulled. That is exactly what I have been missing is what this colour represents: light, sunshine, creativity, joy.
Red is not one of my favourite colors either, I don't normally use it much. This is where I see my lack of motivation and my moodiness represented. That's why I look for strength, energy, passion. Something to give me the push I need. A tap on the shoulder: you can do it!
Blue does figure among my favorites and is the most predominant color in the drawing. As I have been feeling very negative emotions, my inner child cries out for the calm that emanates from this shade. The serenity of the sky, the sound of the sea waves?
Green is the definition of my need for nature. Since we have been in quarantine, I have rarely been able to be in contact with anything in the environment. My soul wants to reconnect with mother earth and run to hug a tree.
Black embodies the darkness I have been experiencing because of my creative blindness and my near-zero will.
Everything is causal, everything we do in art is the purest expression of our repressed inner self. Nothing can be hidden when you are letting it out, everything has a reason. Pay more attention to your emotions. I hope you liked today's post and that you are in a better mood than me. Greetings to all ♥.
