Cycling to the "Swamp lands"
Today I'm going to show you a ride I did with my bicycle in the Poda Protected Area.
I stopped briefly under this tall coniferous tree and enjoyed its posture and all its elements: the green needles, the bark, the stem and the fallen cones.
I continued to ride my bicycle through the dirt roads. There were fallen trees on the road.
I moved on to a place I like to call "The Swamp lands". It is full of isolated small marshy lakes surrounded by reeds and tall grasses.
At this time of year the place is quite deserted and slightly eerie, but in the spring I like to visit it. Here it is full of plants, and the rocks abound with tufts of fragrant thyme. The view from above is also very beautiful and worth seeing.
I know that spring is getting closer and this whole landscape will radically change. I am patiently waiting for this moment.
