Celebrating Dimitrov Day

dimitr1-26.jpg

Yesterday was Dimitrov Day and we celebrated the name day of my husband @outlinez and other friends with that name.

According to folk beliefs, Dimitrov Day marks the beginning of winter, and it was wonderful that this year the weather was great for spending time in nature and celebrating this holiday outside.

Some of us with bicycles and others with cars moved to Chengene skele where there is a chapel and a picnic area.

A friend of ours wore a hilarious Fred Flintstone costume.

We prepared big tables, cooked food on fire.

We tried different drinks and delicacies.

We collected dried trees and branches for the fire.
