Elevator to San Cristobal Hill and Zoo, Stgo. - Eng/Esp

Hello friends, I hope you are doing great. I want to show you some photos that I got from a walk I did some time ago to Cerro San Cristobal. You can go up through a funicular that is an uncovered elevator through which you can appreciate all the route and landscape of the forestation of the hill as you go up. It has a stop at the entrance of the Zoo, which I do not really like, but that day I went up with two friends and we made that stop, took some pictures and then continued climbing to the top of the hill. The experience is very nice and you can see the whole city from the top. This is a way to go up for those who do not have a car, because you can also go up by car and by bike, many people climb the hill for sport and reach the top by bike. It is a nice place to spend the afternoon, have a picnic, if you feel like it you can walk up to exercise and you can go down by the funicular, and there are small bars at the top where you can hang out. The cost of the funicular if I'm not mistaken is currently at $ 5 round trip and although it gives the feeling that they are old and are going to fall hehe, it is a place that is very busy with tourists every day and worth knowing if you like that style of outdoor walks, connecting with nature. Many santiagueños climb this hill every weekend to be able to drain the city that sometimes is a little stressful and exhausting.

Hola amigos, espero que estén superbién. Quiero mostrarles unas fotos que conseguí de un paseo que hice hace un tiempo atrás al Cerro San Cristóbal. Se puede subir a través de un funicular que es un ascensor descubierto por el que se puede apreciar todo el recorrido y paisaje de la forestación del cerro mientras se va subiendo. Tiene una parada en la entrada del Zoológico, que realmente no me gustan mucho, pero ese día subí con dos amigos e hicimos esa parada, tome algunas fotos y seguimos subiendo luego a la cima del cerro. La experiencia es muy bonita y se ve toda la ciudad desde lo más alto. Esta es una manera de subir para los que no tienen auto, porque también se puede subir en auto y en bicicleta, muchas personas suben el cerro para hacer deporte y llegan hasta la cima en bicicleta. Es un lugar rico para pasar la tarde, hacer un pícnic, si te provoca subes caminando para hacer ejercicios y puedes bajar por el funicular, aparte arriba hay pequeños bares en donde puedes pasar el rato. El costo del funicular si no me equivoco actualmente está en 5$ ida y vuelta y a pesar de que da la sensación de que son viejos y se van a caer jeje, es un lugar que muy transcurrido por turistas todos lo días y vale la pena conocer si te gusta ese estilo de paseos al aire libre, conectando con la naturaleza. Muchos santiagueños suben todos los fines de semana a este cerro para poder drenar la ciudad que a veces es un poco estresante y agotadora.
