Amazing weekend with mountain club Crazy Bears Part 2
Hi there Amazing People,
As it was a long weekend full of excitement and beautiful moments, it just was too long to share it with one post. Which is why I made a second part :)
So, this time we slept in a real Lodge, no hotel room. Slept like babies with 12 other enthusiasts in a very big bedroom.
This was our bedroom for the night. We are now ready for a second hike to peak Orelyak.
This small friend slept with us but he is not going to accompany us to the peak. There are experienced dogs which will do the job.
Some picture of the outside area. It is going to be a very foggy day. As oppose of yesterday. The views will be obstructed but we do not care. The show must go on.
Mountain club Crazy Bears proceeding!
Speaking of hotels, we passed through a very interesting hotel in the making building with edgy roof. I loved the construction idea.
Time to move on with the hike. Here are some shots with our mountain dog. It will follow us up to the peak and back to the Lodge. Most of the time leading the way.
Mist everywhere. Spooky but definitely trilling.
Let's go! Our Doge is relentless!
Backing down is not an option.
Time for quick crew count and a break. We were 13 people in total.
13 people and a Mountain Resque Dog ♥️♥️
The foggy ascend continues.
Would you look at that :) A horse herd that were so excited to see us, they literally came to the road to greet us.
As we got higher and higher, the weather got colder and colder. At some point we had to put on our winter hats, gloves, and coats. We are approaching the peak. It stands over 2000 meters high.
And here we are. Peak Orelyak. An amazing place. We had to climb just a little bit but it wasn't something serious. Unfortunately, it was too foggy to see any panoramic views. So what we did was to take a lunch break and rest for a little while. Of course, also counting the photo sessions haha.
Here we have the doggos. Both of them are from the Lodge. We started our ascend in 2 groups. The browny-black one went with us. The white-black one went with the other group. We re-united at the peak.
These are the surroundings. The house structure is a small shelter and the big structure is a Radio and TV Repeater station. Thanks to this building, people enjoy better coverage and signals on their electronic devices in the region.
That was the main course of the hike. Before wrapping up, I would like to share some of my descend photos as they were particularly beautiful.
Used the Macro setting. Came out super cool.
As we descended from the highest points, the fog cleared and we could see some really amazing views.
Autumn season is really a countless palette of colors. The yellow has maybe thousands of nuances. So pretty.
Finally, we got back to our car and drove back to Sofia. It was a long hike. Definitely worth it!
Thank you for visiting my blog :) I am looking foward to welcoming you in my next one.
Stay happy, be peaceful!
Namaste
