Inside the venue of a certain political campaign, two friends, Fred and Greg, are listening to a presidential candidate's spiel. Hearing the candidate's promises, Greg couldn't help but scoff.

"What a bunch of nonsense; he might as well promise the moon, sun, and stars," exclaimed Greg with disdain.

"Agreed, he kept saying, 'if you elect me, blah blah blah...," followed Fred, who looked fed up as well. "Although, that's to be expected of politicians, I guess."

"I missed the days when politicians actually kept some of their promises. Nowadays, it's just lip service," Greg continued.

The two friends sighed at the same time, remembering the days that had long passed. A few decades ago, although the presidential candidates also made exaggerated promises, they still tried to do their jobs once elected, unlike now, where only popularity matters.

"Let's get out of here," Fred said. "I'm getting sick of listening to this guy's spiel."

Greg nodded and exited the venue with Fred. Outside, they meet a few old friends who also attended the campaign, only to be disappointed and leave early.

Since they hadn't seen them for a long time, the group agreed to go to a restaurant to catch up. There, they talked about a lot of things, including politics.

I can relate this story with happenings in my country. All promises during campaign and after being elected they turn Lords of their own without fulfilling them
