Street Art in a Pond | CCC's Street Art Contest #76
Have you heard about street art in a pond? Or should I call it - pond art?
Well, I have seen drawings on walls, bus and train stations, fences, and on all kinds of street surfaces, but never thought I will see graffiti in a pond.
Despite the cold weather yesterday I decided to take a walk in the nearby park. It is called Penyo Penev Park and is located in the south part of the city of Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria. I knew that there are beautiful ponds with interesting representatives of the flora and fauna. To my surprise, instead of water, plants, and fish, I found out that one of the ponds was drained (probably due to the low temperatures) and some nameless artist(s) had poured his talent on the pond's walls. At first, I was a little embarrassed and outraged, I admit it, but the voice of the art connoisseur outweighed the voice of the conscientious citizen and law-abiding person (as best I can :))
Slowly a sense of delight began to well up inside me at the bright colors and symmetry of the letters and drawings. It was evident that the person(s) who created these works of art was maybe young and not so experienced but talented and here he found the best place to express himself.
I know that in the spring the water will cover and obliterate these masterpieces and I'm glad I was able to capture them with my camera. Enjoy this mixture of colors and touches in the photographs below.
Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry to the CCC's Street Art Contest.
The exact location is pinned in Pinmapple and you can find it in the @pinmapple's comment at the end of the post.
I hope you enjoyed today's photo walk with me and my camera.
Stay safe and never stop dreaming.
Yours,
George
The truest art is what we create from the bottom of our hearts. According to the norms of society, some of us are born with the talent to create art and some of us aren't. I completely disagree with this comprehension.
I believe every human being has her/his own unique way of expression and it is not necessary to be born with the talent of a poet, writer, painter, or composer. Each of us could express hers/his view of the world in words and pictures. And if you can't paint, dance, or sing, just describe your feelings, memories, and dreams in your own words and color them with pictures you have taken yourself.
This is the unique advantage of Hive over all social platforms.
Here, you don't have to pose as who society expects you to be. On Hive you can be yourself with all your disadvantages and no one will judge you for not following the "standard". Because on Hive there are as many "standards" as the number of the members of this blockchain society.

Cool works. Nothing is impossible for artists, all places are good to paint 😀 Thanks for sharing all these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Yes, I do agree:) If every poorly maintained building was graffitied, our cities would become much more beautiful.
