RE: WARHAMMER 40k lore - What are Chaos Daemons in Warhammer 40k?

I meant the demon can grow up and challenge its master.
In the video it was said that 3 Khorne Nurgle Tzzench devoured x smaller chaos gods.
In the days when they were only on the level of the higher demons.

So I think that the concept is that, let's say Khorne, was a mighty demon, a singular sentient being. He would represent the rage, fury, and murderous intent of several hundred souls. He might fight another demon of similar properties until he won and consumed it.
The same would happen throughout the millennia as psychic races all developed these thoughts and emotions. Khorne, by winning and consuming would become the total sum of that sort of emotion and concept until he ascended to Godhood.
There are mortals that aspire to become daemons themselves and from being a Champion of the Chaos Gods, they become Daemon Princes. There is one Daemon Prince that has no allegiance to the four, Be'lakor.
There is also rumor that within the Warp there exists (or has existed) a Daemon King who rivals the Gods in power.
And then we the other player that has arrived on the current scene in Arks of Omen - Vashtorr the Arifane, who seeks to become the 5th Chaos God.
Oh and yes, there are Daemons who have done that in the past. Skarbrand the Exiled One is a Bloodthirster who was so powerful and crazy that he struck at Khorne on his Skull Throne.
Khorne struck him once and he traveled through the warp for a long time from the strike and his wings burned off. Now he is a playable character, but he is a Bloodthirster that has lost Khorne's favour. lol
