Amo escribir relatos, entre los que he escrito hay varios que entran en el formato de relato corto (no confundir con microrrelato) y he tenido la dicha de compartirlos aquí en Hive, así que considere que ya era el momento de hacer una recopilación con mis relatos cortos con la intención de que estén organizados y sean fáciles de localizar para quienes quieran leerlos, pero primero...

¿Sabes que es exactamente un relato corto?

Un relato corto es básicamente un escrito que se caracteriza por tener pocas palabras y párrafos, es breve, preciso y conciso. El escrito normalmente presenta una historia con un inicio, desarrollo y conclusión en un espacio limitado. La narración suele ir directo al grano y la trama gira en torno a un protagonista o punto en específico debido a que no hay tiempo para tramas o personajes secundarios.

Este tipo de relatos demuestran la inteligencia, capacidad y agilidad que tiene un escritor de crear una historia que cause algún tipo de impacto con "pocos recursos"; una historia no tiene que ser larga para dejar una huella. También, son adecuados para quienes estén empezando a escribir, ya que su brevedad los hace prácticos para muchos, aunque... en algunos casos es al contrario, porque para muchas personas es complicado resumir todo lo que quieren decir en pocas palabras.

En esta colección de relatos cortos escritos por mí, encontrarán historias de amor, ciencia ficción, terror, entre muchos otros tópicos diversos, ya que me gusta diversificar mi contenido. Espero que se tomen el tiempo de leer alguno y en general los disfruten. 🤓

Do you know what exactly is a short story?

A short story is basically a piece of writing that is characterized by having few words and paragraphs, it is brief, precise and concise. The writing usually presents a story with a beginning, development and conclusion in a limited space. The narrative is usually straight to the point and the plot revolves around a specific protagonist or focal point because there is no time for secondary plots or characters.

This type of story demonstrates the intelligence, ability and agility a writer has to create a story that makes some kind of impact with "few resources"; a story does not have to be long to leave a mark. Also, they are suitable for those who are just starting to write, since their brevity makes them practical for many, although... in some cases it is the opposite, because for many people it is complicated to summarize everything they want to say in a few words.

In this collection of short stories written by me, you will find love stories, science fiction, horror, among many other diverse topics, since I like to diversify my content. I hope you take the time to read some of them and generally enjoy them. 🤓
