Splinterlands: Day 18 - First One Whole SPS & End of Season Roller-Coaster Day

What a day with a whole bunch of excitement, ups, and downs! It also seems like I wasn't the only "smart" one 😁 who decided to rent some cards (despite the skyrocketing prices) before the end of the season.

But despite all the stupidities that happened in battling, this is the day to remember as we finally managed to collect one whole SPS token!!!

To be precise, and as you can see, we collected 1.022 SPS in total. It took us 18 days (over 2.5 weeks) which means that we received on average something less than 0.057 SPS per day.

However, we finally have one whole token and not only just a fragment of it.

In contrary to this achievement, the battlefield was quite deadly for us. With a total of 45 battles, of which only 17 were wins while the remaining 28 were spectacular losses (despite all rented cards), what lower our rating by 180 points (from 594 down to 414), and dropped our winning ratio to shameful 37.78%.

But it wouldn't be an actual roller-coaster day if there is not some twist! Right?!

In an attempt not to increase our losing streak, we stopped battling. Happy that we are still above 400 points (minimum needed for Bronze II league if we manage to find missing 835 points in power what for we were still hopping), we approached opening our daily quest reward chest.

You wouldn't believe it, but there was a card in it again. Two days in a row! WOW!

This is the 7th card that we received in the reward chests upon completion of our daily quests.

But it's also the 3rd time that we've got that card. If we didn't sell our first duplicate now we would have three of them (still not enough for upgrading it onto level 2).

Unfortunately, this one had the same destiny as the previous duplicate as we decided to sell it too, still thinking it would be wiser to get some DEC tokens to be able to rent or even buy some other cards that we actually need.

After all these happenings we would call the day if we would not have to chase missing power for Bronze II league, in an attempt to gain 7 loot chests (instead of 5) as the end season reward.
We'll see how it would end up. Hopping for the best!
