Creeping Tick Trefoil - clover-like leaves!

Namaste!

This park has no greenery in the name of common grass because this year's terrible heat has burnt everything, but some plant species are growing well to fill that gap.

This plant, seen during a walk yesterday, is named Creeping Tick Trefoil. It is one of the few plants which have somehow been able to survive even in this scorching heat.

You must have seen other pictures of this park in my earlier blogs in which there was no greenery anywhere on the ground. So frankly, it was quite refreshing to see such a spot beneath my feet.

In some of the pictures shown below you will see this plant from 0.6x to 3x zoom.

Seeing these close-up shots, I thought, hey, this looks like clover leaves. With some similar heart-shaped leaves, growing in a bunch at a place, the touch also feels quite the same.

But by asking Google Lens, it came to light that no, these are not clover leaves. However, there was no clarity about whether these two belonged to the same family. But in such a drought, seeing this green grass-like plant growing comfortably on the ground really felt quite refreshing and a bit cool. :)

Then I thought of taking some creative shots, so I placed my phone on the ground and tried to take some tilted shots of the grass. I tried something like this for the first time yesterday and I was really surprised to see the result. And I said to myself "Well Done Mr. Photographer". 😄

By the way, this view gave me an amazing realization also. I find the heat, drought, etc. all troubling there, but if you look at it from the eyes of the insects living amidst these plants, there is greenery and freshness all around them. 😊

That's all for today's blog.

I hope you liked my Phone Photography! 🙏

I've seen this plant, but I haven't looked closely... and like you said at the end of the story. behind the drought experienced by humans. there is a cool place for insects surrounded by green plants that make them comfortable. That's nature
