A New Family For Yenya The Raccoon. Intro

Yesterday, we visited a familiar family - our friends, with whom we share a close friendship. It so happened that they had to take care of a raccoon! The animal's owners were forced to leave the country due to military actions, and the raccoon urgently needed a new home.

The family loves animals and had always dreamed of having such a cute creature, but they didn't consider spending money on an exotic animal to be feasible. And of course, when they learned about the opportunity to take the animal almost for free, they immediately agreed.

The raccoon used to live in an enclosure and was not accustomed to living in a residential area, which caused great difficulties in finding a new home for him with the previous owners.

They had to travel literally halfway across the country to pick him up because no one closer was willing to take in an untamed raccoon. They even had to build a special enclosure for him because they had never kept such animals before.

I plan to make a whole series of posts about Yenya the raccoon's life in his new loving family. With the arrival of spring, Yenya started coming out of his hiding place and showing some activity. Before that, only the hostess who brought him food and water sometimes glimpsed into his cubby nest.

The story is much longer, and I will gradually reveal it to you as new pictures of this charming animal appear...

They also have 🐿 squirrels living with them... and many 🐦 tiny birds/many 🦆 domestic 🐓 birds... and 🐖 Vietnamese pigs too... and their second 🐄 cow is about to give 🐮 birth... and I'll just keep silent about their 🐺 dogs and 😼 cats...

When we met them, I wondered: Why haven't they joined the Hive yet? Of course, after waiting for some time not to seem like a fanatic, I told them about this place, about the wonderful people inhabiting it, and about cryptocurrency. But besides all the above-mentioned animals in their family, they also have a garden and a lot of household chores.

Now I want to try to interest them to join Hive from a different angle - I want to bring them a big package of treats for their pets, bought with funds from posting pictures of their animals on my blog.
