My first attempt, in making a pearl bracelet for my first assignment at work.

Season's greetings, Hive lovers!

How is everyone? I hope you and your families and friends are well. It's my pleasure to be here again and share with you my first attempt at making a pearl bracelet for my first assignment at work.

Wow... It's great to reconnect here on #hiveblogchain. It's been a few months since my introduction post. I lost my phone, and things became very tough for me to handle. I had no choice but to wait for God to open a new way. During this time, my mom fell sick, and I had to prioritize taking care of her. Now, I thank Almighty God that everything has turned around for good. My mom recovered, continued with her small business, and saved up some money for me to buy a basic browsing phone. That's why I'm able to be here again. It's nice to reconnect with all of you.

Monday was my first day at work. Fortunately, there were two newcomers. Our supervisor wanted to test our skills and passion, so she asked us to make a simple bracelet. I wasn't sure where to start. I began by threading pearl beads on elastic, but she suggested using fishing line instead, so I rethreaded and cut the fishing line.

As I started threading the pearl beads and contemplating my next steps, I admitted to my supervisor that I wasn't sure what to do next. She encouraged me to make any simple bracelet that I knew how to make. As I sat there, she assured us that her intention wasn't to make us feel bad but to ensure we never forgot our first day at work. I was okay with that but still unsure about the type of bracelet to create.

After threading one pearl bead, I continued with four more beads.

Finally, I secured the last bead by passing the left and right fishing lines through it, forming a circular shape.

Initially, I thought beading work was simple, but now the battle to master our first attempt was on. After completing the first step, I saw progress and continued to the next steps.

When I told my boss I was still unsure and couldn't visualize the final result, she laughed and assured me I'd understand once I finished. With renewed determination, I continued threading, feeling both nervous and excited. From my limited experience, I appreciated the craftsmanship my boss displayed. As I gained confidence, I threaded the beads faster than before.

Regarding my colleague who started with me, we were in a friendly competition to see whose bracelet would turn out the best. I was well ahead when our supervisor asked us to deliver something to a customer. After completing the task, I returned and completed my bracelet. For the final step, I secured it tightly and admired the result. Our supervisor suggested we wear it to see the outcome.

Finally, our supervisor explained that she didn't intend to pick a winner but wanted to see our dedication and enthusiasm. She praised our work and emphasized the importance of using our initiative in everything we do. I was truly excited about the experience she provided, knowing it would help me improve further.

Thank you all for welcoming me back and reading through my post.

This bracelet is very pretty and although it looks simple it also looks very elegant because of the colors of the beads. Thank you for giving us your step by step.
