Luck won’t keep you “rich”, lifestyle will.
The “rich” in this context is beyond the financial expansion or capacity. It is about being rich in every aspect of life. Your lifestyle determines the results you get, and the probability of luck is slim.
I spent time with a group called "the compass crew", and we explore together. Despite some issues of insecurities in the nation, we still try to explore while we minimize risk.
I was telling a friend about my activities every Saturday with the crew and he said I am lucky to have much time to explore and have fun. Because he doesn’t have the time and he is always busy. I replied to him, “I am not lucky, I just chose to be doing this always. Your work is not the problem, it is the life you chose.”
It is amazing how people tag lucky on the result of hard works sometimes. If you are a superb athlete and get an excellent result and awards, people say he is lucky to have that. I think the only things that should be considered lucky are the result we get with no effort. We are lucky to grow in a city where there is good infrastructure, education, electricity, internet and others because not everyone has the luck to access those.
Further, some people might be lucky to have double/triple numbers in gambling to win big, but they won’t be able to manage it because of their lifestyle. Beyond those, any achievements we have are not luck, they are the effort applied in the right direction at the right time.
To expand, my friend claims I am lucky in my work chose his path. I can also choose to be working in companies that won’t allow me to move an inch for freedom. That I chose a path that allows me to work from anywhere in the world is a choice. So it is a lifestyle decision, not luck. I studied civil engineering at the University but I am now a programmer. It is a choice for freedom even if I have to work while others are sleeping sometimes.
There is no perfect way to live, but we can curate our life and get excellent results in every aspect: finance, health, growth, work, social, mind/intellect and family.
Your lifestyle affects everything about you. Choose right.

Thanks
A lot of people consider celebrities to be "lucky" when they make it, without considering the years of blood, sweat and tears it took to finally achieve that level of fame & success. The people who work hard consistently will eventually get their break (or "luck").
Absolutely. Someone said: the harder you work the luckier you get. Thanks for the input.
