Today we're talking about the movie "20th Century Girl".
This is my first time blogging about a movie and watching it reminded me of how I got into Korean movies and Kdramas. This movie is kinda similar to the very first Korean movie I've ever watched, it was "Sassy Girl". Both movies gave me a good reaction after watching them.

PLOT

This movie is set in the late '90s to 2020. The film is about friendship and their first love.

The story will revolve around the character of "Na Bo-ra", a 17-year-old high school student with a bubbly personality.

Bo-ra's best friend, "Yeon-du", has a heart condition and is soon to leave for the US to get a heart transplant.

Suddenly, Yeon-du falls in love with a guy named, "Baek Hyun-jin", she wasn't at ease about leaving because she was already falling for a guy she just met.

Bo-ra promises that she will follow Baek Hyun-jin, find out everything about him, and email what she discovers. Reassuring her best friend to leave without any worries.

At school, Bo-ra starts to follow Hyun-jin every day.

One day, Bo-ra tries to get closer to Hyun-jin's best friend, "Poong Woon-ho" to get any information she can get about Hyun-jin. The story between the two will flourish. Then, they will start liking each other.

Time passes by, and Bo-ra's best friend returns to Korea with a successful heart surgery.

Now, there's a plot twist, where Bo-ra has been following the wrong boy, and the real Baek Hyun-jin whom Yeon-du loves is actually Poong Woon-ho, a confusion caused by the boy wearing his best friend's school jacket wearing his name tag.

Will Na Bo-ra stay loyal to her best friend or will she confess her love to Poong Woon-ho?

Will they have a happy ending???

I recommend you watch this movie. I gave it, a 9 / 10.
This movie made me very nostalgic about how things were before. It is more relatable for me because I'm also Asian. I grew up similarly to the characters of the movie and I fell in love with the story. You guys need to know the ending, I wasn't expecting it at all.
