Turkish delight is known by almost everyone in the world! The first thing all foreign tourists ask when they come to Turkey is lokum, of course, there are many known flavors, the most well-known of which is definitely lokum! Another one is kebab, I think. 🤷😂 Today I will visit historical lokum shops and shop for lokum for my friends and myself. I normally don't like lokum, but here I had the chance to taste it in a historical seller and I can say that it was the best thing I have ever eaten in my life! It tasted so good that I immediately wanted to take a few boxes home. I had double roasted Turkish delight with pistachios. But since there are master lokum makers here, there are many different kinds. I tasted almost all of them and stocked up on a few boxes of pistachio, saffron and chocolate. I also bought one for each of my friends.

The places attract attention as much as the Turkish delights, they are all very authentic and very clean. As soon as you enter, you smell a wonderful aroma. The smell of double roasted lokum spread through the streets and attracted people walking in. You shouldn't eat too much because it has a lot of sugar, but it tasted so delicious that I think I overdid it a bit. But for now I'm enjoying it because I'm going to start a strict eating routine soon. I'm off for now! If you happen to be in the neighborhood, be sure to taste this beautiful flavor, won't you?
