Don't Drop That Ball! - Peoplephotography by worldcapture Week #50

These shots were taken last Summer, in the Urban Park João Paulo II, in the center of Vila do Conde.

There were lots of activities and games for the younger generations.

Some kids were having lots of fun by playing some easygoing games, while this kid wanted a more difficult challenge: to walk a small circuit, while balancing a ball on top of a spoon, with his teeth. 😁

There were educators working to make sure all went well and that no unnecessary injuries would happen. This girl was one of them and she was simply watching over the boy, to ensure he didn't trip and fall. 😊

These kind of events are quite common in the town of Vila do Conde. The city hall is probably one of the most active in the whole country, constantly organising all kinds of events and competitions through the year, for every generation. From street fairs to antique exhibits, from fun games at the park to outdoor concerts and theaters, there's always something going on during the weekends.

I hope you liked these shots... and please come visit us sometime, if you ever decide to come to Portugal.
