Dead but Beautiful
Good Tuesday, tree lovers!
It's not everyday we find something like this.
Near an old chapel in Spain I've saw some trees which were not in a good shape at all. They appeared to have been hit by a lightning but maybe they were just victims of the regular forest fires that happen in these parts of the world.
Even though they were quite dead... they looked like artworks! 😊
Just take a look at these natural sculptures, they actually look much better than some stuff I've paid to see in contemporary museums. 😁
The one above was my favourite but its cousins also had some interesting shapes.
If we were living in medieval times, the one on the left could easily be used to hang some bandits. It has the perfect shape for that. Luckily for today's politicians, that trend has fallen out of fashion. 😏
Right now, I bet some small animals use these old logs to lay down and have a rest. Those huge holes make perfect hiding places!
