A melodrama of lessons
It has been a year of milestones for me. I accomplished significant things. There were crucial lessons I learned along the way this year.
One important lesson I learned this year is perseverance. I learned how important it is never to give up. It might sound cliché, but not giving up pays. This year I was tested to the limit. Academically, it was a really challenging year.
I had to juggle lectures and clinical postings every day. It was really exhausting. On top of that, I had crucial exams. The kind of exams that required intense hard work.At some point, I was handling my project and writing exams. I stayed up at night, for weeks.
There were times when I wanted to relax and stop caring. I wanted to give up and stop working hard, but I persevered. I decided that I was going to graduate with no issues. My project was a really demanding and difficult one. It took a lot of my time. Time which I didn't have enough of.
Eventually, I overcame everything. I persevered and succeeded and I eventually graduated.
Another lesson I learned this year is that making the right friends is crucial. This year, I made friends that impacted my life in amazing ways. I made friends that were there for me when I needed help the most.
They had my back. It's always a good feeling knowing you have friends that have your back no matter what. These friends made the year better. We are more like family.
In different respects, we are there for each other. We complement each other. Where one person isn't efficient enough, the other person helps out. I'm glad I made such friends, and I am looking forward to an even better future with them.
One more lesson I learned is that it is important to be humble. Being humble earns you favor. I have received a lot of favors and won people's hearts just because of humility.
I learned that no matter how highly placed or what position you hold, it pays to be humble. Humility can be difficult for some people, but it is worth making a conscious effort to be humble.
One thing I wish I did differently this year is going out more. I wish I could explore new places. I tried but I didn't keep to it. I really wish I had socialized more. I'm not much of a social person and I want that to change.
I believe going out, attending events more and exploring new places would help me socialize more. Perhaps I could make new friends and build networks.
That's really a proud moment even year for you as you always stood firm and didn't stop to work and you did your final project which leads you to become a successful student.
Humility is one of the keys a person needs to have in other to attain success.. thanks for sharing
