A groom's fury
I woke up to the rays of the sun and the birds chirping. It was a beautiful morning and an exciting day. It was going to be the best day of my life. The day I would get married to the absolute love of my life. I couldn't contain my excitement.
What I didn't know, was that it would also be the worst day of my life. Stella and I dated for almost a year. I was very sure she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.
Within some minutes, I was all dressed up and ready to go get married. My friend and best man, Anthony, was always supportive. I arrived at the church, and it was filled to the brim.
Virtually everyone I know was in attendance. It was flattering that they would all sacrifice their time to come see me tie the knot.
I stood at the altar, while everyone was seated, waiting for the bride to walk in.
All of a sudden, the bridesmaid, Amy, walked in. Her face was gloomy as she walked towards me. The bride was not with her.
"Stella is nowhere to be found, but she left this note for you" she said with a shaky voice as she handed the note to me.
"Dear Victor, I'm sorry it came to this. I can't marry you. I thought I could carry on with this wedding, but I can't. I don't love you anymore. I'm in love with someone else. Sorry to disappoint you"
I felt a sharp pain in my chest, perhaps it was my heart shattering. I felt cold all of a sudden. Tears rolled down my cheeks. I sat on the floor, devastated, hoping that the ground would open and swallow me.
I was heartbroken and filled with anger. I vowed that I would take my revenge on Stella for this humiliation.
One month later
Stella was the CEO of her father's company. Her father had retired, so Stella became the major shareholder. The board of the company was made up of members who each had shares in the company. Stella woke up one morning to a notification about an emergency board meeting. She was curious about what it could be. She hurried and arrived at the conference room where the meeting was taking place.
As Stella arrived, the board members informed her that she was no longer the CEO. She lost her status of majority shareholder. Stella was in utter shock. But that was nothing compared to the shock on her face when I walked in and was announced as the new CEO.
I bought all the shares of the other board members. It wasn't easy, but I managed to persuade them. Now I was in charge of the company she worked so hard to build, and I was ready to demote her and make her life a living hell.
Note: This is a fictional story
You didn’t try at all.
She was just playing with you na
😂😂
Stella is heartless to have left you a note on your wedding day all because of her career. She could have opened up to you about her fears and insecurities rather than allow things get to this point.
So far your revenge was cool.

The best way to get back at someone who has wronged you is to become successful in a way that they never saw coming. It's better if one focuses on getting better.
😂😂😂 damn man. That’s one hell of a revenge plan. Now, Stella’s life revolves around you and we’ll see if she can cope or will run away again.
😂😂 it's the perfect revenge
🤣🤣 the absolute best
Interesting read! I can imagine the look on Stella's face when you walked in and she discovered that karma is indeed a bitch
It was priceless
Nice one! There is no payback better than becoming what they never saw happening.
