HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK #170 | | JERICHO BY INIKO
Hello everyone this is Hive open mic week #170, today I picked a song by iniko titled Jericho, this is my first time presenting in this community, it's a really great pleasure to do so after a long time I have been trying to come up with something, even though this weeks theme is "cacao" I couldn't find a song that could go with it and so I decided to pick last weeks theme which was war, and so I have this presentation up here. I hope you all enjoy it, it's my first time so I hope it's not too bad. I'm really excited to be here.
The first time I heard the song, it was from a tiktok video, I was eager to learn the lyrics and so I had asked my sister to do a duet with me, but she hadn't had the time to really listen to it and so I decide to come with it myself, what dragged me into this song was the confidence iniko used to sing the song, sometimes I imagine myself in her shoes, how would she have felt while coming up with the lyrics, the fact that her lyrics are in point also makes me intrigued to learn the song and that I have and so here I am presenting it. This song has really grown on me and has become one of my favorite songs. I'm so glad I took the initiative to learn it. It's now a part of my daily routine because I listen to it every day and also I have set it to be my ringing tone for a while and I'm so proud of myself for being able to sing it.
