Hello and welcome to my blog. It is always great to have something to write about weekly thanks to the HIVE Learners weekly contest, This post may be late, but it is still worth writing, I haven't been in a really good state of mind, so I took some days off my phone and pc, I am a bit better, and hopefully everything will fall into place with time.

SHE HAS A KIND HEART

I first met this woman when my husband, who was also my boyfriend at the time, was employed by a company. My husband had introduced me to her as his finance, and when she heard who I was, she was thrilled and even gave us a ride home.

When I found out I was pregnant with my son, I called her and told her what had happened. She didn't reject us; instead, she invited us over and offered some advice. She wasn't married, but she treated us like we were her younger children. We had intended to get married before my son was born, but we weren't financially prepared. Despite this, she advised us to remain calm because we would eventually be ready, and she assured us that we would succeed in all our endeavors in God's time.

When I personally called her in 2020 and told her we wanted to start planning for our wedding but didn't know how, the woman quickly committed to be our wedding planner and began to record all the information we might need for that special day. I informed her I needed to acquire my dress for the Registry, and she assured me that everything would be taken care of. I was surprised to hear that everything had been taken care of in what way?She then gave me the go-ahead to visit her at her home. When I arrived, I was greeted by a stunning cream flowing gown. I was so moved by its beauty that I started to cry. When I was making my list for getting a dress, I had assumed I would rent a wedding gown. Instead, she had purchased a brand-new wedding dress for me, which exceeded my expectations.

On the day of the registry, she sent her car to pick us up from our house to the registry, and then the car waited and took us back to my parents' house. On the day of the traditional marriage, she came very early in the morning to the hotel we were staying at and she came with a makeup artist, which I didn't pay a dime for, She made the preparation for the wedding very stress-free and even paid for the hotel room the night before.

She also bought mint note, which I didn't even thought I would need. She also had three envelopes with her; she asked for one to be delivered to my mother, one for my husband, and one for myself. I was so grateful that I had nothing to worry about; I felt like a princess the entire day.

I haven't done anything for her to merit her doing all this for me; even some family members wouldn't be able to do so for someone, but she did it from the heart, and my mother prayed for her with all her heart for her own special day and partner. Thank God now, she got engaged that same year in 2020, had her wedding in 2021, and gave birth to a baby last year in 2022. Even though I didn't do anything to earn it, she made my day happy, thus she too deserves to be happy in her own life.
