Trip to Temple of Leah! 😍
I've been hearing a lot of people talking about the Temple of Leah lately. As a result, I became intrigued as to what it was all about. There, I discovered that it is a temple in the city of Cebu. My curiosity piqued my attention, and I looked forward to paying a visit to the location sooner rather than later. So here I am, writing this post about the Temple of Leah and our brief but unforgettable visit there.
The tale of the Temple of Leah is the same as the story of the Taj Mahal, an Indian mausoleum built as a symbol of unending love.
Temple of Leah is Teodorico Soriano Adarna's expression of affection for his late wife Leah Albino-Adarna, with whom he shared a life partner for a number of years until her death. They are the grandparents of Filipina actress Ellen Adarna, as well as the owners of the hotel chain Queensland in the Philippines' capital of Cebu.
The Temple of Leah is one of Cebu City's newest tourist attractions, having opened just a few months ago. The temple is located in Sitio Garaje, Barangay Busay, immediately across the street from the Lantaw Restaurant.
Columns, statues, water features, and a grand hall are among the elements of the edifice, which draws extensively on Greek and Roman architecture.
How to get there?
The quickest and most affordable method to get here is to take a 04D, 04I, or 04H (Lahug-Busay) jeepney from downtown Cebu City; the ticket is not more than P20 per person; get off at the street leading to Temple Leah; and walk for 5 minutes to the site.
For P150 per motorcycle, good for two people, you can charter a habal-habal from Lahug / JY Mall to take you straight to Temple of Leah, or you can take a cab or grab from the downtown area. Visiting at the start of the day will allow you to avoid the crush of people.
Other expenses:
Entrance fee - 100
Snacks - it’s up to you! 😉
