Hello here !
here is my contribute to the TRADITIONS contest :
Coffee making and drinking traditions are very popular for both Ethiopian and Eritrean communities.
It seems like a beautiful, aromatic and warm tradition! Thank you for your entry!

always my pleasure !
Hi all. This is my entry for the "Traditions" contest.
On the 6th of January, Bulgarians celebrate Jordan Day. It is an eastern orthodox custom. The priest throws a wooden cross in the icy waters of the river where young men jump in and hurry to take it out. It is believed that the one who manages to reach it first will be blessed with good health and fortune.
This particular year the temperatures were quite high for the season but I still wouldn't jump 😀
As I already wrote yesterday, I don't like and usually don't observe folk traditions.
I gladly miss all the traditional holidays when I can afford it. But there are some ancient rituals that fascinate me with their antiquity, symbolism and importance to the population. For example, the one that is performed at the Slavic carnival, seven weeks before Easter - twirling of burning poles to drive away evil forces.
Hi wonderful @travelcontest, this is my entry to your so interesting theme "Traditions"!
Thank you for this awesome entry again and have some !LUV :)
